The property is well maintained inside and out. Great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the Kure Beach pier. Family friendly house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen is nice with a large island.

The house was clean however all the beach chairs were being stored in a wagon in one of the bedrooms. That was an incredible inconvenience because not only did we need the space in the bedroom but it also got sand all through the house when I moved it. I was also previously told the house did not even provide chairs or any beach equipment. There is a major problem with the water at this house. It smells of sulfur and you are unable to drink or cook with it. The solution we were told is to let the water run until it stops stinking. The smell never really went away and was back the next morning. We had to buy all our drinking water and water to cook with. I did not want to wash my clothes in the water as well. Other problems to note, there was no broom to sweep with, the fridge smelled of fish, and communication regarding trash day and how to handle the bedsheets upon leaving was unclear or conflicting

Great Stay

Nice location. Had everything we needed to live in the house like it was our own. The outside area was secluded and everything was clean.

Perfect little cottage!

We found this house to be very clean and located at a convenient location from the beach and restaurants. We parked the car and walked the entire weekend. The house was stocked with all supplies needed for stress free and relaxing time away!

Tidy and adorable spot just a few blocks from the Kure Beach Pier. Easy walk to the beach and several dining spots. Check in and out were seamless. The only drawback was the small amenities were in a bit of neglect (example: none of the battery powered games worked and neither did a Roku remote). But these were small things we could have addressed, so still rating this stay 10/10.

This house is beautifully decorated and clean. It’s much larger in person than it appears in the photos. The location was perfect for our trip. I would highly recommend this property with one caveat…the master bath doesn’t have a door, just a sheer curtain. This was very awkward and something to keep in mind if you are considering renting and like privacy. Other than this, the house was perfect!

The house was very clean, beautiful, and within easy walking distance of the beach. It also had a spacious side yard, and overall the home had plenty of room for our family.Unfortunately, we found the house to be more attractive than functional. The biggest disappointment was the kitchen. The listing described it as fully stocked, but it had only the bare minimum of pots, pans, utensils, and other cooking supplies. We enjoy cooking while on vacation, so this made meal preparation difficult. The cabinets were also extremely small—even a standard cereal box wouldn't fit inside them—and the ice maker did not work.The bedrooms lacked dressers, making it difficult to unpack and organize clothing for our stay. The TV in the living room had a blue line running down the screen, which was distracting while watching. We also missed having an outdoor shower to rinse off after coming back from the beach.The primary bathroom was another downside, as it had no door for privacy and no toilet paper holder, which seemed like an odd oversight. You also had to step inside the shower to turn it on. Overall, the house is clean, attractive, roomy, and in a great location, but it wasn't as functional or well-equipped as we expected. With a better-stocked kitchen and a few practical improvements, it would provide a much better experience for families.

Beautiful home, minutes from the beach

The Barefoot Bungalow was beautiful. The house was spacious, well cared for, and literal minutes (walking) from the beach. Really couldn't have asked for anything better.
