This is a wonderful beach cottage in a fabulous location. I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything I needed. The outdoor shower has hot water and is delightful.

Perfect for our family of 4 and our pet! Fully fenced in, large back yard was great for kids and dogs!! Location is great. Walking distance to pier, restaurants, and the beach!!

Communication with hosts were great! House cozy, beds super comfy, a/c cold, ceiling fans in all rooms. Kitchen stocked with everything, spices, coffee and coffee pot. Yard and house great for pets.House awesome for kids as well. Will be back next year!

The property was what we expected. I overlooked that there was only one bathroom, but the outdoor shower was nice. There was not a washer/ dryer or dishwasher, so this could become an issue for longer stays. Location was great. Two minute walk to the beach and five minute walk to pier area with several restaurants. The house was clean and the fenced in back yard was great for our pup.

The house and yard were wonderful! Everything was clean and very well stocked. The outdoor shower was a big plus. The dogs loved the yard and the bed on the porch! I would definitely stay here again.

The host was very accommodating and communicative. Erin actually made a special trip to the house to drop off a blender! The house is small but we didn't spend much time inside. Lots to do in the surrounding area (beach, restaurants, biking paths, pickelball, boardwalk in Carolina Beach) and the back yard was huge with plenty of seating to hang out. Pet friendly! My dog loved being in his own private yard. We slept really good as the beds were super comfortable (especially the front room with the memory foam mattress). It was extremely hot during our stay but the ocean temp was perfect, so we did spend a lot of time in the water. The beach was only about a 3 minute walk from the property. There were only 2 beach chairs, so I would recommend bringing your own. We loved the outdoor shower because it was huge and conveniently located right outside the back porch. We also enjoyed hanging out on the porches because of the space but air flow was bad. I suggested installing ceiling fans for circulation. The biggest downside was price. I know you pay a premium for the location but the add-on fees through VRBO are ridiculous. Splitting the cost with guests helps.

Short Vaca

We chose the hottest weekend of the year to get away to Kure beach but we stayed in the coolest old style beach house! Modernized in all the right ways, we loved staying here. Bess very comfy, great private backyard, comfortable screened porches and a couple minutes walk to the prettiest of beaches. We will definitely stay here again

Guys Weekend Get-a-way

Beach House was perfect - location, accommodations, you name it! Erin was quick to respond, friendly and hospitable. I would certainly recommend and stay again in the future.

Cute House!

Couple with small dog enjoyed our stay! You could hear the waves and being off season was very quiet. Enjoyed sitting on front porch people watching. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Ate an amazing meal at Freddie’s.

Great stay

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this cottage this past week. We loved the close proximity to the beach, as well as the fully fenced-in back yard, which worked well for our 2 senior dogs. We also really enjoyed the fire pit, and we used it several times during our stay. The owners were incredibly nice and very prompt to answer any questions that we had during the stay. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Adorable cottage. Bedrooms are larger than I would have expected. Yard is gorgeous. Location fantastic. The indoor shower is a bit quirky, though.

Perfect Kure Beach house

We had an excellent stay at Erin’s home! The location is ideal - just a block from the beach and a short 4 minute walk to the Kure Beach pier. We brought our dogs to the beach and Erin’s place is perfect for traveling with dogs - great outdoor yard, puppy-proofed interior. The home is comfortable and has all the essentials you’ll need for a beach trip. We would love to stay here in the future and highly recommend this home!

Cutest Pink Beach House

Perfect location for a family with kids, short walk to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Plenty of room to park and the outdoor shower is a game changer!! Lots of space in the backyard for the pup. The screened porches allowed us to be outdoors most of the time without BUGS! Highly recommend.

Weekend get away

The house was neat and clean and the yard was clean . The fig bush was a added bonus!!! The location to beach access is wonderful and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house is well stocked and the screened in front porch is wonderful. Fenced in back yard was great for our dog . Will keep it in our favorites

Lovely little place

I really enjoyed this property but I took my 82 year old mother. The rocks out front and shower really presented problems for her. This is a wonderful place for families but if you have someone confined to a wheelchair it is a challenge. Erin is very helpful and this property has everything a family or just friends needs.
