Quiet Apartment with wonderful harbour views and pool
Quarterdeck Cabin is a safe, quiet, comfortable one bedroom apartment with full bathroom and a separate open plan kitchen and living area.
Outside the apartment is a peaceful setting with wonderful views of the harbour and comfortable seating to watch the sunrise from and enjoy your morning coffee. Guests will also have access to a shared pool and BBQ area, garden space with hammock and Adirondack chairs to relax in.
There is ample parking available for rented scooter/electric vehicles and it's just a short walk to bus stops.
The apartment is a five minute walk down to the historic old Towne of St Georges, a UNESCO world heritage site and Bermuda's original capital. It is also easy walking distance to Tobacco Bay Beach and the Five Forts Golf Club.
Please note that the property is in an elevated location and as such it is an uphill walk returning from the town, bus stop, etc. - additionally there is a short steep drive way and stairs to navigate to the apartment entrance. Accommodation is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
The views from here are amazing. Looking over the town and St Georgeâs harbour with amazing sunrises is beautiful. David our host meet us a gave us a tour of the apartment. Dinners made using the bbq located by the pool was handy. Pool was great and used it even though it was April. Apartment itself has everything you need inside to cook and be comfortable. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.
Great location with amazing views. David, the property owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in St. George's.
We loved being close to St Georges and did not mind the hill and steps into town and the bus stop was really convenient. The pool and deck were relaxing with views and breezes. Cooking supplies, snorkel gear, maps, beach towels, ect.
Enjoyed are stay at quarter deck.
Accomodations were great, the location was fantastic, David and jenny our hosts made us very welcome, We could not recommend this place anything but super and would love to return, Also St. George is so quiet and more tranquil than Hamilton and travel to amny beaches was so accessible. We loved our holiday
Nice quiet apartment with great view of St Georges.
It is on a hill so access would be difficult for anyone not sure footed.
Easy walk to town centre.
Owner was friendly and helpful.
There was a bit of a bad smell from the kitchen tap water at times.
David & Jenny were wonderful hosts, who were able to answer all our many questions about the location, economy, and history of the area. David even gave us detailed directions, with pictures, for a seamless arrival! We had all the amenities we needed, and a beautiful pool to swim in with a stunning view! Quarterdeck is a short walk to groceries, shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!
David and Jenny are perfect hosts. They were full of great information and answered all our questions. The view from the property is simply outstanding. Even in February, my wife made full use of the pool. The cabin is well equipped. The wifi is the best I've ever experienced and the TV options were plentiful. This is the second time we have stayed at Quarterdeck and would recommend it to any one. Keep in mind that if you have mobility concerns, the location does require considerable uphill hiking. But overall, we fully enjoyed the Quarterdeck
We just returned from Bermuda and while staying at Quaterdeck we had a fantastic time. Attached to the main house the self-contained unit has privacy, a spectacular view of the harbor as it sits high on a hill, sitting gardens and as an added bonus the use of their in-ground pool that also overlooks the harbor. The hosts David and Jenny were ever so welcoming and informative and we look forward to our next visit to Bermudaâs Quaterdeck.
Compact, comfortable with all mod cons and a great pool and relaxing garden.
Very pleasant and friendly property manager, happy to help and recommend, when asked.
The steep walk and steps may be challenging for some guests.
Bermuda is a small British colony in the North Atlantic Ocean, I was born and have lived there most of my life. I am a mostly retired Information Technologist, though I still do some small consulting jobs occasionally. I love travelling to new places and exploring the culture, food and natural beauty of the area and people. I have visited 50+ countries thus far and have a long list of places I want to travel to still ..
