La cabine de vacances idéal pour les familles. Directement sur la rivière.

Situé sur la belle rivière Nottely, vous trouverez notre cabine une détente et l'évasion. Il pourra accueillir 6 personnes, mais pas plus de 4 adultes. La cabine offre une intimité avec des vues spectaculaires de la forêt nationale de Nantahala et la rivière. Il est situé à la fin de la route sur la rivière et vient en butée contre la forêt. Le lecteur de 2 mile retour à la cabine à travers la canopée des arbres est quelque chose que vous vous souviendrez et apprécier.

Vues depuis le porche wrap-around blindé sont belles. Ouvrez les portes-fenêtres dans la chambre des maîtres pour les sons relaxants de la rivière la nuit et de superbes vues pendant la journée. Soirées autour du feu peuvent produire des moments très amusants et mémorables. Vous pouvez aussi descendre la banque et de tester vos compétences dans la rivière qui est la maison à une variété de poissons, y compris des bruns, des arcs en ciel et brookies indigènes. Vous serez étonné de la mise vierge et vous aurez probablement être la seule personne (s) sur la rivière.

Pour ceux qui aiment des vacances plus actives, il ya le golf, le canoë, le kayak, le rafting, le canotage, équitation, sentiers de randonnée, pistes de vélo de montagne, et des sentiers de VTT, le tout dans quelques minutes en voiture de cette retraite paisible sur la rivière. Vous pouvez mettre votre kayak en amont de la rivière de la cabine sur la «libération» et profiter d'un tour d'amusement de 20 minutes dans la cabine, ou tout simplement le tube de la rivière lorsqu'ils ne sont pas sur la libération et de profiter d'une heure et demie trajet du retour à la cabine .

Il est isolé, mais pratique. Bien que nous sommes à la «fin de la route», il est seulement une courte dix à quinze minutes en voiture de Murphy, le centre de tout dans cette partie de la Caroline du Nord occidentale! Situé entre la rivière Ocoee dans le Tennessee, et de la rivière Nantahala en Caroline du Nord où les eaux vives prétendants olympiques ont formé. Ici vous trouverez une ville qui rappelle d'une époque révolue avec une rue principale très bien à pied avec suffisamment de cafés, restaurants et boutiques pour vous garder intéressés. Side-by-side marchés aux puces fermer par le week-end, un marché aux puces dans la ville le mardi, et même un marché de producteurs du centre-ville le samedi. Ceci est juste une belle région pour parcourir les routes de retour et de créer votre propre aventure!

Conduire le Cherohala Skyway (rivalise avec les Blue Ridge Parkway pour une vue imprenable à longue portée). Ride the 'Queue du Dragon "à travers le Gap de Deal. Visitez le Kilmore Forêt Memorial Joyce ou l'École de gestion John Campbell Folk pour les classes dans l'art populaire, artisanat, contre-danse, la forge, la musique bluegrass, etc. Ou tout simplement prendre un lecteur à travers une campagne regorge de vues de cartes postales.

Excursions: Blue Ridge, Géorgie a merveilleuses boutiques du centre-ville et vous devez visiter le Toccoa Riverside Restaurant pour un repas merveilleux.

Ellijay, Géorgie - est la Capitale de la pomme de Géorgie - Voyage long de l'autoroute 52 pour visiter les granges de pommes. Tout près se trouve Amicalola Falls - 729 pieds de chutes d'eau, le plus grand à l'est du Mississippi.

Dahlonega, Géorgie - a du shopping à son meilleur et la maison de la Maison Smith - un restaurant de style familial qui est génial!

Cherokee, Caroline du Nord - a le casino et vous pouvez truite poisson sur la terre de réservation Cherokee pour un prix nominal.

Asheville, Caroline du Nord - Accueil de l'Biltmore House qui est un must!

Bryson City, Caroline du Nord - faire des réservations sur Great Smoky Mountain Railroad pour un beau voyage le long de la rivière Nantahala et visiter End Restaurant de la rivière pour la grande cuisine.

Perfect location! The river was awesome, although I didn’t have much luck fishing. The kids loved playing in the water. The cabin is beautiful and comfy! The host were super helpful throughout our stay, contacted them multiple times for advice and they promptly responded. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the location on the water- it was peaceful and private The cabin was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped -we weren't lacking anything we needed. The back and side porches were enjoyable spaces with comfy chairs, a swing, and a picnic table. It was nice to sit out there and enjoy the sound of the.water. My husband caught 5 fish on a fly rod which always makes for a good day for him! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Outstanding Stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. It's wonderful, love the screened porch overlooking babbling river. So relaxing listening to the river and watching the geese next door. Perfect location for day trips.

This place was amazing.

We loved sitting on the screened porch listening to the river. Very relaxing vacation. The town of Murphy was very cute and everyone was very nice. We will definitely recommend this destination to everyone.

Wonderful anniversary

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved listening to the river every night and watching the qeese each morning. The cabin was great. We really enjoyed the screened porch.

Outstanding view and cabin location right on the Nottley River. The only issue was the 2 mile single lane dirt road to the cabin.

Dad and his school age boys' getaway trip

Me(dad) and my four boys just wanted a boys trip to spend some time together. We had a great time. We had no luck fishing out back but it was a great view and the boys loved playing in the water. Plenty of great fishing within minutes.

Christmas get away

Loved our after Christmas get away with family. It was a bit cold while we were there but we still got some fishing in. Very quiet and just what we needed after a rough year. The road in takes about 10-15 to get down so you may want to make sure to bring in enough food. We only left once while we were there. The cabin was clean and so cute.

Clean, Comfortable, Peaceful

Almost a week before our departure we received directions to the cabin and instructions for our stay. We appreciated the information up front for planning purposes. When we arrived, my husband and I found this home to be very clean throughout, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen had all the dishes and cookware that we needed to cook our breakfast and supper each day, and after being out and about during the days, we enjoyed our peaceful evenings by the river. We fully recommend this rental.

Relaxing location

The home was warm and welcoming. Very clean, and the owner was extremely helpful, and quick to respond to messages and questions. The property overlooks the river which was very relaxing. No luck in fishing, but a bad of fishing is better than a good day at work. The kids enjoyed the property, chilling at the camp fire by the river. All in all, needed the rest, and this area definitely gave me that. Thank you Branzt and family for inviting us to your home.

secluded and quiet

This location is the last home on the road so you have only 1 neighbor. Don't let the dirt and gravel road put you off. The home was beautiful and well equipped. If you want to read by the fire or play in the river this is the spot for you. If you want to keep driving into town to shop and play... probably not for you as there is not much there.

Relaxing on the river

This property is excellent, well equipped home, especially kitchen. But major draw is that it is about 20 feet from a rapidly flowing Nottley River, making wonderfully relaxing sounds and it is a wide, open, beautiful river. The property is private with large screened porches. Perhaps only drawback was a fairly small TV and limited cable. But that’s not what this place is about. Beautiful place.

What a View!

The view from this property is awesome! Right on a wide, beautiful, clean, crystal clear river. The kids had so much fun playing and swimming in the river. Floating on inner tubes. Across the river is a mountain and beautiful big trees. That's all you're looking at. Beautiful! We spent tons of time on the upstairs screened in porch with the sound of the rain or the river, it was so relaxing. There is a house on either side of this one, so like a little group but noone paid each other any attention. The downstairs setup is a little quirky with the landing and the rooms but the kids loved it down there and it was like their own space. Would love to come back in the winter and see the river when it snows. Also, you've got to eat at Julie's place! So good.

Twice the Enjoyment

This was our second stay at this awesome property. We stumbled across this place two years ago and when we were considering where to take a family vacation this summer, the vote was unanimously "the River house." That says something when my wife frequently reminds me the world is too big to go anywhere twice. Not much has changed since our last stay -- and I mean that in the best of ways. It's still quiet - only the sound of the river. The river is great for kids to play in (though we did see two snakes this time around). There's an opportunity to see wildlife (we saw deer and a bald eagle). It's close enough to conveniences and sites without being in the thick of it. The house and property are well maintained and provide everything you need to enjoy some R&R. We chose this house for all these reasons. We needed to rest and relax and it provided it in spades. We are so thankful to the Rozels for letting us stay once again. I don't know if we'll make it back to Murphy (again, the world is big), but this will always be top of our list of places to stay and has given us lifelong memories.

Father & Sons Retreat

Booked this cabin for my father (67 from IL), brother (35 lives in Chattanooga), & myself (37 living in Mebane, NC) for a relaxed nature retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We loved the 2 mile dirt road drive back to this tranquil, end of the road, riverside cabin. We spent most of our time fishing on the river and hanging out around the campfire. We enjoyed a few of the recommended spots for food nearby when we did venture out. Got a ton of gorgeous pictures. Didn't catch too much, but we did get a few small trout, caught a giant salamander, & had plenty of nibbles. The water here is so clean & clear that we could see the riverbed consistently, and we even spotted several Big Boy Trout swimming around (unfortunately the Big ones didn't take our bait lol). Perfect setting to relax, catch up, and share some quality time in person with us all living in different states at this point in our lives. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for beautiful scenery and peaceful retreat. The cabin itself is very clean, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and well stocked with all the cookware/plates/cups/utensils available for use. Brantz is awesome with communication, and a really cool touch is there are complimentary cards featuring pictures of the views from this cabin as well as a guestbook where you can leave a note! Thank you Brantz!

The proximity to the river is priceless. The outdoor areas, to include a huge screened-in, 2nd floor porch, and fire pit make being outside easy and inviting. VOIP phone fills the need at the cabin when cell service fails. A satellite GPS might be best for navigating more than a few miles from populated areas such as Murphy.

Property is very thoughtfully appointed. Beds are comfortable. The bedding and towels were nice quality. Very clean. The steps to the front steps and down to the guest bedrooms are very steep, which could be a consideration for those with mobility issues. The location on the river couldnt be prettier and more relaxing.

This place is so great if you want to get away from it all. Quiet, beautiful view, just nice. Very clean and well equipped. It is remote, however. The long, narrow gravel, road could be "interesting" to navigate in wet weather I would think. But we had a truck so no problem. You do need to use steep stairs to get to the main level, which can be difficult, especially with luggage, for older folks. I didn't like having to haul trash to the dump at the end of the stay but the only other choice was pay 20 extra. These are my honest thoughts. I would recommend and would consider staying again.

Stayed at the Cabin from 7-6-25 thru 7-20-25 and had a wonderful experience. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was found absolutely spotless upon arrival, very well stocked with just about everything you would have in your own home in regards to kitchen utensils, laundry supplies etc. (even the knifes were sharp). Everything that was promised was met by the owners. Wildlife observed were, deer, geese, bald eagles, great blue herons, humming birds and Kingfishers. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The driveway is 2 miles long and a 10 min drive in/out with a 80% of it gravel/dirt and 20% asphalt with elevation changes and switchbacks. If you are a car enthusiast and are into keeping your vehicle clean the driveway is a challenge. If you are riding or bring a large street style motorcycle Harley/Bagger) the driveway will be a challenge as well (not recommend),. We ended storing our motorcycle and trailer at the storage place on Highway 64 (see Mike) and rode out of there with no issues A duel purpose bike (street/off road) with one up, the driveway would be navigable. Stairs---the cabin has a lot stairs, if you are young, no problem, but my wife and I are in our 70's and found them a bit of a task for us with loading and unloading but that is on us not the cabin and or owners, just making note for us older peeps. If we could give this 6 or 7 stars we would. If the road and stairs are not an issue for you, you need to book your stay here! LOVED IT!
