Relax with Sonoran Nature Preserve views plus bike trails & several golf courses
Thirty minutes from Tucson and 10 minutes from the Oro Valley, Marana offers a relaxing venue with spectacular desert and mountain sights and activities. Golf courses abound for those who like to play outdoors. There are multiple biking and hiking trails within minutes from the house. Surrounding us are many golf world class golf courses for all those want to be golf pros. Casual dining and drinking spots offer a pleasant end to the day's activities. Our home has a large Primary bedroom with a king bed and bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Two other bedrooms have queen beds with a full bathroom separating them. There are two sleeper sofas and two aero beds for additional guests. There is an office if you must work, a large living room, dining room and entertainment room. The kitchen is situated around an island providing room for multiple chefs and socializing among your guests. There is also a casual eating area and a formal dining room off the kitchen. The patio's pergola and comfy seating either at a table for 8 or on comfy chairs and sofa provide the perfect place for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening while enjoying the Sonoran Nature Preserve as your back yard.
This is our second stay and we loved it as much as the first. The home is very clean and comfortable with an open spacious layout for visiting family. The Sonoran sunrise and sunset were spectacular from the patio. Look for javalinas and road runners! Thank you again Mike.
Check in was very easy, house was well set up for the stay & had just about everything needed, easy to communicate with owner when a problem arose. Only complaint might be instructions on how to navigate the TV remotes for each TV because they don't replicate each other, & the wifi connection to the TV in the small room off the kitchen seems to have a weak signal because it took forever to make a connection between the TV & server & when it finally did the picture "tiled" a lot so it was difficult following a movie because it was constantly pausing & then picking up the program/movie however long the pause lasted.
Marana is a really nice area, and close to Tucson. The house is well kept and very comfortable. We all had a great time and enjoyed the property. Highly recommended.
I rented this home for friends to stay in during a menâs golf outing at Dove Mountain.
Itâs the perfect location and everything is as noted
The host were friendly and accommodating
Perfect location for visiting with my parents. Kitchen had everything we needed and the view from the backyard was beautiful. Mike was very quick to respond when we needed anything. Would stay again.
Clean home in a quiet area making for a relaxing and peaceful stay. Amenities are as advertised and the listing accurately reflects the home. Owner was friendly and responsive.
The house was great, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The owner reached out a couple times before and during our stay and was very easy to deal with. The house was only about a fifteen to twenty minute drive into Tucson, depending where your going.
This place exceeded our expectations. It is much bigger than it looks in pictures. We were visiting family and had plenty of space to have them over to our place to eat and hang out. The patio has a spectacular view and was great for hanging out also. Mike was very attentive to our needs and checking in and out was easy.
Met / exceeded expectations. Roomy, clean, good digital communications with owner. No hassles whatsoever. Stargazed and watched hawks and woodpeckers on the saguaros and quail in the underbrush. No javalinas but did get serenaded by coyotes.
Nice home base for our family to explore Tucson and southeastern Arizona. Plenty of room to unwind and spread out. Well set up kitchen was a plus. Enjoyed being away from the traffic and noise of the city. Only shortcoming was the beds were rather firmer than most of our party prefers.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of several weeks at this well appointed home. From colorful sunrises and sunsets the views of the Catalinas and Twin Peaks were magnificent. From the back patio we saw coyotes, jackrabbits, javalinas and several species of birds in the Sonoran desert landscape. We really liked our ability to go for a hike or cycle without needing to drive, but Catalina State Park, Saguaro West NP, Tortolita Preserve, Honeybee Canyon were all a short drive away.
You're also not far from Oro Valley and Tucson restaurants but the nearby Whole Foods, Traders Joes and Frys made dining in easy. Mike was a wonderful host and we would stay here again.
Nice house in a very nice neighborhood. Pleased to have a garage to safely store our bikes. Loved that the house backed up to undeveloped desert. Nearby walking trail was well maintained. Saw lots of wildlife...quail, owls, hawks, javalina, coyotes...very fun. Close to trails for riding and just a few minutes' drive to Dove Mountain brewery with yummy beer and food. Communications with the owner were excellent. A few minor things in need of repair but owner was responsive to taking care of them...nothing that detracted from our stay.
The neighborhood is quiet with many long-term residents. Our house has a view of a natural preserve from the patio which has amazing sunsets and wild animals who live right behind us.
We see javelinas, coyotes, birds, owls, and many other critters from the safety of our patio
Our house is new, and we decorated it to be comfortable as well as not cluttered. The patio's view is lovely, so we spent time adding comfortable outdoor furniture and small propane gas pit for winter months.
