Propriété au bord du lac avec son propre quai sur le réservoir Otis avec une vue magnifique et un jardin. Idéal pour le feuillage d'automne. Pour la saison de ski: 25 minutes à Butternut, 55 minutes à Jiminy Peak, 6 minutes à Otis Ridge et à quelques pas du lac pour le ski de fond ou le patinage. 2 minutes du «centre-ville d'East Otis» avec le magasin Katie's Country et la station-service avec tous les éléments essentiels. 5 minutes de Tolland St Park, 12 minutes de Jacob's Pillow, 35-50 minutes de Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co, Rockwell Museum, Outlets in Lee et le reste des attractions du Berkshire. Max de 4 voitures.

La maison a une cuisine complète avec de la porcelaine pour 10+, des casseroles et des poêles, des ustensiles de cuisine, deux réfrigérateurs, un four électrique avec 4 brûleurs vitrés, un micro-ondes, une cafetière, un Keurig et un lave-vaisselle. Il s'agit d'un gril à gaz extérieur à 5 brûleurs. Les sièges comprennent une table pour 6 personnes, des tabourets de bar pour 4 personnes, le porche avec moustiquaire est utilisé pendant 3 saisons et 10 places. Dispose également d'une laveuse et sécheuse et d'un générateur de secours.

Le sous-sol a une table de billard pleine grandeur, un jeu de fléchettes et une table de ping-pong séparée. La TVHD de 42 pouces connectée à un Roku, YouTubeTV comprend tous les principaux réseaux, NESN, NBC Sports Boston, ESPN, la plupart des chaînes câblées, la possibilité de "DVR" et les émissions de recherche que vous avez manquées. Roku a également Netflix et peut prendre en charge tout ce que vous diffusez (HBO, Showtime, ...). Nouveau wifi haut débit (400 Mbps, illimité) via internet en fibre optique. Beaucoup de jeux de société pour petits et grands.

Locations par temps chaud: La maison est livrée avec son propre quai à 75 pieds du pont arrière. Il y a un ascenseur à bateaux si vous avez un bateau de 18 pieds ou moins. Un canot et un kayak peuvent également être mis à l'eau. Le réservoir Otis est un lac très souhaitable car il est drainé vers le bas à plus de 25 pieds chaque hiver, tuant ainsi toutes les algues. L'eau est belle et propre pour toutes les activités de baignade et de navigation - pas d'algues vertes ni d'algues. Le réservoir mesure 1/2 mile de large et 4+ miles de long. La maison a une pièce humide pour stocker tous les tubes, pagaies, gilets de sauvetage. De plus, il se trouve sur la rive est du lac, ce qui signifie qu'il reçoit le soleil de l'après-midi - plus susceptible d'être baignable les jours marginaux. Aussi, bonne pêche juste à côté du quai (pour les petits poissons).

Loved the house!! Clean, spacious, and so beautiful right on the lake. It was nice having access to the fire pit, grill, and kayaks!

The overall experience of this house is great. The view of the very clean lake is excellent and on non motorized boats, the local boaters are very courteous. The property is nice and private and had everything you could need for a relaxing weekend away.

The location is phenomenal. Right on the lake with wonderful high windows to take in the views. Marshal was a very responsive host, ensuring the house was stocked with firewood for our stay when I mentioned we wanted to do some s’mores. Some things that were not ideal: the house was noticeably dirty when we arrived. Floors had not been swept, the fridge had food residue inside that we cleaned out ourselves. Very few kitchen towels, and those that were there appeared to have been recently used. Some of the amenities are also in disrepair. The bottom of the fire bowl was corroded, which caused embers to fall through. The canoe had a leak and both the canoes and kayaks were covered with spiderwebs we had to rinse off prior to using them.

Perfect family weekend in Otis MA lake house

This was an exceptional spacious lake house with fantastic views of Otis reservoir! Clean clear water. You can walk down to the dock. We saw a bald eagle from the large deck. We were 9 adults, and we all had plenty of space with everything we needed! Lots of hiking spots nearby.

Relaxing Home with a Great View

Perfect home on Otis Lake with plenty of room for a group of friends to gather. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pots/pans, dishes to make a nice meal. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of outdoor furniture to gather near the fire pit by the lake. Keurig coffee maker available to make coffee in the morning. Nice and quiet, felt very private. Plenty of room for parking. Thanks for letting us rent.

Family weekend

Loved the location by the water and plenty room for our group of 6 adults + 2 kids. It was very easy to communicate with Marshal. My problem was with the kitchen, no room whatsoever for our own supplies in kitchen cabinets, also the freezer part of the refrigerator really need a good cleaning.

Nice place to relax

Our family had a nice time at this house on Otis Reservoir. The view out the living room windows was wonderful. We also very much enjoyed the pool table in the basement. I give this 4 stars only because much of the house is dated. Everything works but it appears as if nothing has been upgraded for quite some time.

Beautiful and Entertaining Lake House

Myself and some high school buddies came here to catch up on our busy lives. We planned on going kayaking, grilling and having fires, but the weather did not cooperate. Thankfully the home was equipped with a pool table and ping pong table so we were thoroughly entertained. The view of the lake is beautiful and you are little steps from the water. We will definitely be coming back when the weather is nicer so we can get out on the water. Sleeps 8 comfortably in the 3 level home and there are restrooms on each floor. Plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend this home if you enjoy boating, kayaking or canoeing. The owner, Marshal, was very responsive and genuine. I 100% recommend this home

Simply Amazing, exactly what we needed!

This home was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. 5 adults and 3 children under the age of 3, and this was our perfect get-away. We spent the weekend fishing on the lake, paddling around in the kayak, and several hikes to Kates Store. The kids loved the swingset and the super awesome tree house. My father, "Papa", who hadnt taken a day off in over a year, spent the days napping in the hammock with the grandkids and teaching them how to fish. My brother and I- the ever competitive siblings- took turns dominating the dart board, ping pong table and pool table. This home is extreemly kid friendly, and helped my family to create memories that we will never forget. Marshal is THE BEST. So easy to work with, and extreemly accomodating. I would recommend this home to everyone!

Perfect Getaway - while still being close to home

I had had several email/conversations with Marshal Root (owner) in the months prior to our vacation date. He always responded quickly, was very easy to communicate with, answered all my questions and just got an overall good feeling about him - which in turn made me feel secure in that the lake house would be all it was stated to be. IT WAS - AND MORE!! Upon walking in the front door, the first thing you see is a cathedral ceiling living/dining room with loads of large windows looking right out on the lake. It was breath taking, to say the least. The house was very clean and we all had no problem deciding on sleeping arrangements, since there were so many options. The decor makes you feel at home. The deck looks over the lake and that was the popular spot for everybody. My son had brought his boat and Marshal had explained everything we needed to know about what to do with that. We all had such a relaxing time while we were there - at the same time we also went kayaking, canoeing, fishing, exploring the islands, fires at night with lots of family communication going on (and of course, s'mores), had "friendly pool games", cooked on the grill and lots of meals in the perfectly stocked kitchen. We took a day trip to Campbell's Falls, which is an amazing waterfall with all the true beauty Mother Nature could offer. We took drives around the area and all around the lake plus a couple of us actually got up in the mornings and walked 3 miles! This is my 7th year of renting a home from Homeaway and each time I do it, I have to hold my breath that the place will be what was presented on the website. I've been blessed because, so far, every one of them has been great. Marshal's lake house even exceeded the pictures on the site, which made us all very happy. I would most certainly recommend this lake house on Otis Reservoir for any size group or family. You will be guaranteed to enjoy every single minute while you're there. We live approx. 1 to 11/2 hours away which also was very convenient for us in that family members had basketball tournaments or lacrosse games, even a job interview during that week, so we were able to still attend but yet continue the wonderful vacation. Thank you, Marshal for having such a gorgeous place for us to come to, and for being so very friendly and cooperative. I also wanted to say that I LOVED meeting your mother and her new husband when we first got to the house. She was very helpful, friendly and Bob was very funny

The laundry setup was easy to use. There are 2 washers and dryers. Lake view is wonderful. The home is relaxing and peaceful. We will stay there again.

Beautiful View on the Lake

This family vacation home is large and well furnished. Comfortable, including the beds, which is one of the first requirements for a codger like me.The lake view from the large living room was a great backdrop for chilling out in the spacious greenroom.Kitchen was well-furnished, laundry worked perfectly and there was plenty of gas for the grill. Make sure you grocery shop before you get here, local markets are small, limited.Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.

Christmas stay

The location is beautiful and there are lots of places to visit in the area. The house is nice; great view of Otis Reservoir. It took us a while to figure out the multiple thermostats, but it was a good Christmas house. The owner was nice enough to allow us to have a Christmas tree, and had someone make an extra trash pick up for us after Christmas.The one thing we were disappointed in was the cleanliness. Shower curtains were moldy, some of the dishes weren't very clean, expired condiments in the refrigerator and old butter in the butter dish and one really bad stain on one of the bunkbed mattresses. That was too bad because everything else was great.

Amazing Stay

This was an awesome stay with family. The foliage was beautiful and the view of the lake was amazing. We had such a great little family get together. Marshal was a great host, very quick to respond.

Tranquil

Comfortable, amazing views, room for everyone. Granted we didn’t need all the room, but if you’re looking for a place to bring a group and stay together, this is the place. The views of the reservoir are stellar. We had rainy and cloudy weather and even about five minutes of snow during our stay. But when the clouds cleared the sunset was beautiful and seeing the almost full moon through the large wall of windows overlooking the water made me never want to go to bed! Just beautiful! Sufficient kitchen with everything you need to cook just about anything. Grill outside. There is a keurig but make sure to bring your own k-cups as they are not included with your stay. Overall would recommend this rental!
