Whispering Pines Certificate #RVC-1555 is on a very quiet street, where one can enjoy tranquility and appreciate the sounds of birds and frogs throughout the day. The village, multiple trails and the Nature Center are all within a few minutes walk or drive. This area is an outdoor lover`s paradise.
Up to three vehicles can be parked comfortable in the driveway. No street parking is permitted.
If you are coming from San Diego, we recommend you drive through Temecula and Anza instead of going through Hemet. Itâs a beautiful drive and much less curvy. As with all mountain homes, whether can change quickly and itâs best to check conditions before setting out.
Idyllwild has many events throughout the year that are related to arts and music. Almost any given weekend there is something to go in town to see and enjoy.
We had a nice stay; however, it was a bummer that the BBQ was broken for memorial weekend. They did come to check it out but could not repair it for us to use.
Very nice home with a very cozy feel, but the house is very dirty and dusty. Pictures online are a bit different than the actual house. We were also visited by mice as we found mice dropping in one of the rooms in the kitchen and on the dining table. I understand itâs the mountains but weâve stayed in other cabins that didnât have a mice issue. Itâs okay if you get a good deal but not worth over 350 a night.
My family loved our stay. The house was lovely. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. It was close enough to town to make it easy to get to, but far enough away to be comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. The host was very patient and responsive to my million questions. We will definitely keep this property in mind for our next trip.
We love our family mountain retreat! We were looking for a place to make memories with our family and friends and also be able to share it with other traveling families. Whispering Pines has all of the comforts of home but surrounded by all the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. We even catch deer passing through some mornings. It's a quiet street yet still close to everything.
Whispering Pines is a spacious, newly remodeled home which is truly designed with families in mind. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There is a large living area, lots of outdoor seating and dining options, and lots of games and books to enjoy. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils one would wish for. There are cozy spaces for everyone to relax either together or on their own.
