The space is gorgeous. From the stone fireplaces and cool atmosphere, sauna, game room, gym, on-site restaurant, water access with rentals, to the room itself which hosted 4 of us with just the right amount of space. The kitchen was the selling point. Even though it didn't have an oven, the full size fridge and other pieces made it possible for us to save some money and cook and eat in the room. Remember to bring your own salt, oil, some utensils, maybe a bowl for salad or pancake batter lol.

This property is definitely for younger people who aren't concerned about the comfort of the bed, temperature of the room, low toilet, slippery tub, communal bar of soap - I booked this property as an anniversary get away for my husband and I because we can afford accommodations that are, maybe not the best, but better than most places.When we got up the next morning in lots of physical pain from the bed, we left a day early. We really felt the room did not justify the prices.When we told the lady at the front desk why we were going, she didn't seem surprised or concerned. Absolutely no offer to refund any money - I guess they don't really need the business.

The place was perfect for its location to the lake and state park where we went hiking for 3 glorious days. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing I would add is that they need to update the rooms and balcony. I could have used a blender in the kitchen rather than 2 coffee makers.

No smart TVs, no AC in Loft, no blinds on dormer windows so bright light shining in the morning in your face, shower head sprays.

Beautiful property and area

This was our 1st time going to Deep Creek Lake. They allowed us to check in a little early which was wonderful! The lobby area was beautiful and had games to play at the tables. Our suite was nice and clean. Some of the lights didnt work so it felt dark in our room. The bed upstairs was very firm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We liked having the sofa bed and huge TV. It was also nice that they had coffee in the lobby in the morning. They have boat and kayak rentals on the property which was awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too. The restaurant next door, Dutches, was beautiful with indoor and outdoor dinning. We would stay there again.

Great location

My husband and I got to enjoy a few days of relaxation without our children (even though the loft of the unit would have fit them perfectly). The property was very clean and location was close to everything. Enjoyed dining right next door which is great to walk right back to your room. We would recommend!
