Il y a une terrasse enveloppante autour de toute la maison, avec une douche extérieure et un vestiaire. Il y a une terrasse privée au 2ème niveau de la chambre principale. Les portes françaises mènent de la cuisine avec salle à manger à une terrasse grillagée circulaire, idéale pour recevoir, avec une grande table à manger familiale!Le salon spacieux et ouvert avec cheminée a un immense canapé-fenêtre intégré avec un mur de fenêtres. *** Cette maison a beaucoup de caractère vignoble. **** Planchers de bois franc partout. Profitez des beaux jardins avec des jardins et un magnifique paysage. Il y a un hamac pour se détendre dans la cour. Wifi. Buanderie au 1er étage. Juste une courte distance en voiture de la ville et du ferry. Laissez-passer pour la plage de Lamberts Cove disponible (le locataire doit acheter) .Accès aux sentiers pédestres et au tennis!

The home was as listed. It was clean and we found the kitchen well equipped. The owner responded immediately when I contacted him about one of the beds not being made. The beach is a walk, not out front of home which I think was not clear. Overall, We had a great stay.

Beautiful house; great location

The house is beautiful with lots of light in the living room and great outdoor space. It's a very short walk to the beach and close to the amenities of Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. The owner/manager communicated well and was very accommodating and eager to help us have a good time.

Wonderful property, especially if you have dogs that enjoy the water. The short walk to the private beach became our twice daily ritual. The house had plenty of room for our party of eight, and it was a great location to explore Lambert’s cove and the nearby towns.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house!! It is incredibly charming and even better than the pictures. The living room was perfect for our family of 7. The windows and natural light were so great. Every bedroom was more charming than the next and we all slept great. The sun room was perfect for cribbage and eating. Maybe best of all, the huge yard allowed hours of fun for our kids - so much wiffle ball and swinging in the hammock. We enjoyed being off the main road while still being close to town. I look forward to staying here again someday!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful family home, well outfitted, comfortable and super close to the beach. Matt was a great host. Very much recommend.

Plenty of room

This was an excellent house for our extended family. Quiet and secluded. Plenty of space. Nice large table to share meals with friends and family. Large family room in which to gather and laugh! Bedding was soft, shower was hot, and towels fluffy!

Great and easy walk to beach! Easy house! Not fussy.. bare bones beach house but with all of the important amenities. Tv was meager but a blessing! We read more and played more games! I week fam and one week friends!! A perfect vacation!

Matt's home was way more beautiful than the pictures showed! So peaceful,but close to so much on the island. Matt was very accessible by phone.I'm so thankful he shared his family home with myself,husband,son,daughter,and 2 year old grandson.

Perfect for family vacation!

My husband and I recently returned from a lovely week vacation in your house. The location was perfect -- close enough to places for food and services, yet away from busy traffic, making it secluded and quiet. With the beach only a third of a mile walk along a graveled road, access was easy. We walked there with our dog several times each day. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable, with ample space and beds for our two adult daughters and their spouses. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and dishes needed to prepare and eat home-cooked meals, allowing us plenty of time for sharing, socializing and enjoying each other's company.

wonderful stay

I have stayed on Martha's Vineyard many times and have always preferred this area because it's close to our favorite beach but this house is literally minutes from the beach! The grounds are so gorgeous and well maintained that staying home was also delightful. The house was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and with many amenities other rentals do not have. The owner was available by phone to answer any questions that arose and the manager promptly delivered extra beach chairs to replace broken ones. We have reserved our week for the coming year and hope to stay longer in the future. Great property!

Very comfortable home for large family

We enjoyed our stay very much. My whole family of ten came together to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The home was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. It had a well appointed kitchen, large table in a lovely screened in porch, and a large yard for kids and dogs to run around in. The beach was a short walk, but also had a small parking lot where my parents could drive to it. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend! *One note about the island is that the roads in the neighborhoods are unpaved and narrow! Follow your GPS and you'll be fine.

Great vacation for our large group.

I absolutely loved this large old home and its location. We had people coming and going and even on the 3 nights we had 10 people and 2 dogs, there was plenty of space to gather together. Almost every night was spent either in playing a board game in the 3 season porch or the large living room. It was a bit warm during our stay but each room had at least 2 fans going so we kept the air moving. We also loved having 2 beaches to choose from. The neighborhood beach was great for our dogs, paddle boarding or short stays. Lambert's cove beach was BEAUTIFUL but took a bit more to get there as we only had one sticker so had to take multiple trips to get people back and forth - but it was worth it.

Magical Makonikey Holiday

My family converged for our summer holiday at this beautiful home and we left refreshed, invigorated and in love with Martha’s Vineyard. The home had plenty of room for several young adults to have solitude to common areas for meeting for delicious meals on the screened porch or playing lawn games or board games. The private beach was lovely for quietude but we had easy access to explore the island. We have several artists among us and the setting was inspiring from the natural beauty to the family artwork. The host and owner were extremely helpful about getting to the Vineyard and suggestions for restaurants and things to do besides the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The washer and dryer came in handy. The hammock got a lot of use as did the outdoor shower. We look forward to returning to this light filled aesthetically pleasing home.

Heaven on Earth

What a discovery! This West Tisbury Vineyard retreat is pure magic – a short walk to a heavenly private beach on the Vineyard Sound. Words fall short of describing the mesmerizing views (and the SUNSET)!!! The home is tucked away, yet perfectly situated to explore all corners of the Vineyard, the house exudes timeless Vineyard charm, tailor-made for family/friends relaxation and fun. Spanning three levels, sunlight pours through expansive windows, creating a warm ambiance. The adults spent hours reading and relaxing on the wrap around deck and the hammock and our children stepped away from the electronic devices to enjoy the spacious lawn (still brings me joy)! The screened in porch/dining area was a family’s favorite gathering spot, where we shared unforgettable moments. I can’t forget the property manager, Annette, and the owner, Matthew! Their responsiveness and guidance from the time of booking until our departure was top-notch. They were willing to answer questions about the home, the area and guided me on ferry transfers (very important to book early). I made a little snafu with the keys (totally my fault) at the end of our stay and Matthew was so understanding and patient. They were awesome! The home is conveniently located to the other areas of the island - just a short drive (or rideshare) away. We’re already mapping out our return! This home truly is a slice of heaven on earth – don't miss out!

This is by no means suppose to be a , “beware” type post because being from MA, I know places like this and cape cod thrive on 3-4 month tourist seasons but proceed with caution. Communication, location and the exterior of this property is beautiful. Unfortunately, the interior was a wreck. The first thing is bugs, more specifically roaches. Owner and property manager knew there was an issue with roaches (they called them wood roaches, we have photos). We found sprays and traps for roaches inside the house and property manager did say they have an exterminator but there is clearly some infestation happening. By the 3rd day, the roaches were out in the open, in every room and instead of enjoying our last day together, we spent it checking and cleaning our personal belongings. About half of our party had roaches in our luggage and one family member found one in their stuff on the way home. Owner and PM were notified and apologies were given but it felt like an excuse was given at every step. Almost to the point of feeling like we had something to do with it. We were at the property during very muggy and hot days/nights and you could tell that the house suffered during these days/nights. Everything inside was damp and if we were sweating while sitting around, others had too. Mold in certain spots of the house (next to stairs) which we were told wasn’t there a week ago (impossible) and screens to windows and doors were either not the right size or had holes

We were very disappointed that this tenant did not communicate during their visit about "issues" stated in review to address immediately. In our confirmation letter-we tell all tenants to call if there are any issues--so we can address them right away. This tenant never called us with any issues. The homeowner also calls tenants after they arrive to make sure everything at the house is ok. After trying to call this renter several times with no response, the homeowner went to the house to check in with the renter. The person that rented the house was not even on island- it was a bunch of young adults, and the phone number used to book the house was not accurate.We also emailed the tenant at check-in , and they responded that the house was all ok. We received noise complaints from neighbors about parties. The house was left in poor condition, tons of trash and damaged linens. At the END of the trip, tenants emailed us with complaints, stating that they would NOT post a bad review, waiting for a response ( ie : money refunded). When we did not offer them any money back, they posted a poor review. As you can see in the reviews section: WE HAVE 28 GREAT REVIEWS for this home and this home has a 5-STAR RATING. We have been renting this home for over 15 years. And we are " PREMIER HOSTS" on VRBO. As far as the roaches- these are NOT cockroaches, they are wood roaches , totally different bug, that live outside in wooded areas all over this island. We do have exterminators come all throughout the season-- to prevent any issues. We did not have any complaints or mentioning of wood roaches from any other tenants, in over 15 years of renting! These tenants did not properly close the expandable screens-- and left doors open and this is where these wood roaches came in from outside. Humidity in the home-- we have now added AIR CONDITIONING TO ALL SIX BEDROOMS, KITCHEN, AND LIVING ROOM-- so the entire home has AIR CONDITIONING. Also the couch cushions have been replaced after this tenants stay. We do steam clean cushions before and after peak summer season. Mold- there is NO mold in the home- The house was deep cleaned before the summer season-- and also cleaned by a professional cleaning company before and after each tenant. In New England, and especially on this island--there is a huge amount of pollen outside during the summer. When it blows inside the home, people do mistake it for mold as it is green. These tenants were a big group--that had the doors and windows open ( because there was no A/C-, but now there is A/C) and also did not close the 2 window screens that are adjustable screens, so pollen came into the house. The screens- there are 2 adjustable screens. They DO fit-- but these tenants did not know how to operate them. All holes in screens are always repaired right away, as needed.

Great Spot

The location was perfect, easy access to ferry’s and towns on the vineyard while also being quiet and private! House was clean and check in and out was super easy. The short walk to the private beach was our favorite part , our 2 dogs loved running around and we caught some beautiful sunsets.

Quiet and peaceful

This house and property are so graceful and homey. There is plenty of room in the generous sized living areas and a big deck too. The yard is meticulously cared for with various plantings and garden areas.
