Homey Retreat! A hidden gem tucked away in the bustling historic district of Kennett Square. Walking distance from all shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment on the main strip. Historic charm and modern upgrades throughout make this a great place to experience and take in the full vibe this great town has to offer. 3 bedrooms, open living room, dining area, fully functioning kitchen, private backyard oasis, with off-street parking.

The space
This is a comfortable row home with electric artwork and decor among many other features:

-THE MAIN FLOOR is an open living/dining room with a 55 inch TV, built-in bookshelf, cozy modern furniture, and dining table.

-THE KITCHEN has is all brand new with a modern backsplash, butcher's block countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a gas oven range with an exhaust hood and built-in dishwasher. Stocked with coffee, tea selection, bottled water, and snacks.

-THE 2ND FLOOR includes 2 bedrooms with a hallway bath. A queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom with a full closet, and a full-sized bed in the second bedroom which has a walk-in closet with a make-up vanity area.

-THE BATHROOM has updated tile and a jacuzzi tub!

-THE 3RD BEDROOM is a converted basement bedroom with a queen-size bed, and TV.

-THE BACKYARD is secluded with high privacy fences and contains a deck that steps down to a flagstone patio with lounging furniture along with a brick patio and pergola with overhanging Edison bulbs and flowering scenery.

- PARKING is available in the front and the back of the house. Private space in the back and free curbside parking in the front.

Full access to the house. Please be mindful of neighbors and their property.
Other things to note
There are two window AC units located on the first floor and main floor.
~AC window units are removed during winter months (November - April)~

Longwood Gardens is less than 4 miles away. Beautiful every season of the year!!
Brandywine River Museum offers great exhibits all the time.

Loved it!

Our Kennett Square stay was fantastic! Beds were comfy, house was cozy and well equipped with a lovely back patio and a short walk to some great restaurants! The house was also close to the gardens we were visiting. We had a great time!

Plenty of entertainment and activities

Extraordinary area close to myriad things to see and do. And this unit was right near some of the most well-known, Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. Perfect location, lovely accommodations.

We had the best stay at this property! It was within walking distance to so many great spots in kennett. The host gave us such a personalized experience and had wonderful communication. Would highly recommend!

Homey Retreat in Kennett Square

My two sisters and I stayed at Ivana's place because we are from out of town and planned a visit to Longwood Gardens. We were very comfortable during our stay. It's cozy and has all the amenities you need. We each had our own bedroom and the beds were comfortable and the rooms are decorated very nicely. The kitchen has all of the supplies you need.We were there when it was cold and rainy, but the backyard would have been a nice place to sit and have a glass of wine if it was during the warmer months of the year. I would recommend staying here!

Perfect in every way.

Small but perfectly laid out townhouse within walking distance of restaurants plus shops. 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. laundry facilities, small but very workable kitchen, suitably equipped for use. Parking for a car in back of the house. Friendly, available, helpful owner. Not our first stay there, now definitely our go to rental for Kennett Square.

Cutest townhouse with a perfect layout for our 3 generations of family guests. The kitchen was well-stocked with thoughtful little extras like bottled water and a basket of snacks. Ivana was very responsive and helpful!

Friends weekend

We were relaxing and visiting Mt. Cuba. Wanted to stay in-town. House was adorable and location was great. Lots of nice touches to make everything comfortable (tea, extra blankets, multiple keys). Would absolutely come back!

Great location, charming back yard

Cute, clean and very walkable to downtown Kennett. Charming backyard with shaded sitting area. Property has only one bathroom and it’s upstairs. Wr had a 94 yr old with us and for safety felt we should walk our parent up and down the wooden steps.
