Maison en bois sur mesure: propre, spacieuse et à seulement 4 miles du centre-ville de Seward!

Il s'agit d'une belle maison en bois rond sur mesure située juste à l'extérieur du centre-ville de Seward. Les propriétaires précédents ont passé dix ans à construire la maison et ont coupé et épluché à la main toutes les billes. C'est une véritable œuvre d'art d'Alaska, et il n'y a rien d'autre comme ça dans la région de Seward.

Nous avons acheté la maison en 2007 et vivons dans un petit appartement au-dessus du garage détaché de la propriété. Donc, nous sommes là pour vous aider avec les activités et informations locales et vous assurer de tirer le meilleur parti de vos vacances! Nous avons deux chiens qui vivent avec nous et jouent dans la cour, mais ne sont pas autorisés dans la maison en rondins.

Cette maison offre un chez-soi très confortable lors de vos déplacements, avec toutes les commodités. La cuisine complète est là pour votre usage, il y a de grands espaces communs - une immense cheminée en ardoise entourée de canapés en cuir, TV / magnétoscope / DVD / ordinateur Internet haut débit / Wi-Fi / stéréo, un grill et un bain à remous sur le grand front pont, un petit pont arrière couvert, etc. Nous avons maintenant une laveuse / sécheuse à l'usage des clients - toutes neuves en 2017! La maison est moderne et très propre, mais confortable et confortable. Our experience at Bear Paw Lodge could not have been better. The facilities were well-maintained and clean; host Wendy was so helpful and accommodating . Our kids and grandkids used the hot tub every night! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in the Seward area. We have never rented a VRBO before, but would certainly do so again based on this experience.

The cabin was unbelievably beautiful, and our host Wendy was fantastic, easy to communicate with and super accommodating. The location was close to our fishing charters and that made loading up and getting going easy. Lots of places to hike and beautiful places to see! (If that’s your thing )This would be a great place for a family, we had 3 couples and if we didn’t each want our own restroom, it would have been great for more people. We stayed in the upstairs room that had two queens, a large futon and private bath. The laundry room was a great feature, and appreciated the laundry soap provided, super clean. The signage was awesome, the fireplace was beautiful and warm as well.Not that Wendy can control the weather but we felt blessed that we had a great rain free visit, couldn’t ask for anything more!THANKS AGAIN!!!Ron and Shari Ung

The place was spectacular. It was immaculate. We had seven people staying in the lodge for over a week and nobody got in any bodies way. Everyone loved the fireplace and it was on constantly to give you a warm and cozy feeling. The kitchen was utilized daily for both breakfast and dinner. What a nice way to start the day with either pancakes or scrambled eggs. Overall, all seven of us said it was by far the nicest place they had ever stayed. The lodge was worth every penny we paid for it. It certainly was a welcome addition to our vacation.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals all over the USA and this one was probably the best one. It is immaculate and the pictures really don’t do it justice. It is a beautiful log cabin in a serene, wooded area. Wendy is a top-notch hostess and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She is super organized and has everything labeled so that things can be found easily. They obviously take excellent care of the house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

Seward Getaway

Such an excellent property with tons of thoughtful touches and minutes from downtown Seward. We had a wonderful time enjoying the lodge feel and relaxing in the hot tub after two days of outdoor adventures. Communication with hosts was excellent and checkin in and out was a breeze. Have already recommended the property to other friends and family wanting to come to Seward in the future.

Perfect getaway at the foot of Kenai Fjords

Clean luxury cabin for a group trip to Seward! The host was helpful and available, and the cabin is a great place to cook out and use the hot tub during the midnight sun. Very comfortable with short drive to Seward town and Kenai Fjords. Can easily fit a large group comfortably.

We've lived in Seward since 2002, and absolutely love the area and the people! We owned and operated Kayak Adventures Worldwide through the summer 2014 season, and during those years Bear Paw Lodge was run as a B&B. It was a great lodging option for our clients, and others traveling to the area. Now that we've transitioned away from running Kayak Adventures, we've turned our log home into a vacation rental.

One of our favorite parts of traveling is meeting all the wonderful people. By living on the property and running the lodge, we're able to bring that aspect of travel right to our own back yard! It's such a pleasure to meet the people who stay here, and to assist them in maximizing their time in Seward.

We love the outdoors... and whenever we're not working on projects around the house, you can find us hiking, biking, running, fishing, kayaking, or even strumming our instruments around a campfire. Life is good in Seward, and we hope to share that with you!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We were both originally drawn to Seward for the kayaking and the lifestyle. Landing at Kayak Adventures in 2002, we quickly realized how much we loved sharing this natural playground with others. That winter we purchased the business, and decided to make Seward our home. We lived in the tiny kayak shop for five summers... sharing the space with many guides, customers, dogs, etc. In 2007, we decided it was time to find our own space. And so we found this log home! It needed lots of work, but was well-built and spoke to us immediately. In June 2007, we moved in and began running it as a B&B. In 2015, we transitioned to offering the home as a vacation rental.

Come stay at the lodge, and in an instant you'll know why we purchased this log home. The quality and beauty of construction, the feeling of warmth and home, the space and light, the deck and hot tub, the location... the list goes on and on. We knew this was the property for us the minute we walked through the door in 2007. We bought the house with the intention of sharing it with others, and it's truly perfect for traveling groups.
