Great location! Beautiful, well cared for home with lots of space to spread out for a large group. Wished we were staying longer but came down to fish and made that happen! Will definitely try to stay again if come back with a group! Thanks for a great experience!!
This property is a gem! Lots of space especially the top floor living area. Beautiful open plan, decks on the back and side with views of Ressurection Bay and the surroundings. Easy access to 'downtown' Seward.
The host was very helpful and answered any and all inquiries immediately. We are already planning a return trip!
Perfect location for our time in Seward! House was so spacious and comfortable for our group. Communication was easy and our host Mary Beth was so nice. The raspberries on the property were amazing!
What an amazing host and such a lovely and welcoming home. We had a great time staying here and making this our home for 2 days. Thanks a lot Mary! Highly recommend for anyone planning to come stay few nights in Seward Alaska. Lovely people & place.
Beautiful, spacious home with all the amenities required for a great Vrbo vacation. Plenty of room and beds for six men. Check in was a breeze and house was so clean. The large open kitchen was well furnished. Lots of open space for gathering and visiting. We absolutely loved it and are already talking about the next visit.
Our family came to have a great fishing adventure in Seward but surprisingly found the perfect home away from home! This beautiful, clean, well furnished home was the perfect fit for our family vacation. Communication was fabulous & the little touches of home made it extra special.
We enjoyed a lovely short stay at The Sockeye house! We flew in from MN to visit family in Anchorage and everybody took a trip to Seward for a little extra Alaskan getaway. This was a spacious place to stay that accommodated 4 families of varying age ranges and sizes. Great location, beautiful property, everything we needed! And Mary Beth was great to communicate with! The Alaskans said they will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits.
Booked a halibut charter for one of my biggest clients out of Seward and chose to stay at the Sockeye House as it looked big enough to accommodate 5 of us. Our fishing trip was cancelled due to inclement ocean conditions but the stay at the Sockeye house made up for it! We enjoyed our time in Seward and Mary Beth was super responsive and the house was so nice we enjoyed our trip even if we couldn't fish! Very clean and MB even brought us some cookies and communicated very clearly on expectations. House had plenty of space and privacy for everyone and we really enjoyed it! Would stay again!
One of the best homes weâve stayed in over the years and many travels. The extra special touches that Mary Beth provides puts this house on the top of our list. Perfect set up for our group of 4 couples. We would choose this home again!
We were wowed at Sockeye House. It was very roomy for 9 people, so clean and the host was very responsive. Perfect location. Everything was a 5 to 20 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend a couple of days in Seward if you are doing Alaska.
Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful stay in Seward. Perfect location, communication and view. Loved everything about this house. Lots of little details weâre done along with the owner bringing over fresh cookies!
We all loved this property! The host was very responsive and the place was well stocked. The location was excellent.
Would highly recommend this property.
