My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay in your cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable, had all amenities, was quiet, and set back from the road in a wooded area. The pond in the back added a peaceful and beautiful setting. We had our 4 year granddaughter stay 1 night with us, and she also enjoyed a night with her grandparents. I recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the Evans / Augusta area.
I thought the house looked very quint from the outside and it was just as nice inside. Itâs close to everything but is very secluded. I would absolutely stay there again!
We stayed here during a fishing Tournament on Clarkâs Hill. House was great, plenty of room to park your truck and boat and only 20 minutes to the boat ramp we were using. The boys even caught fish out of the pond. Plenty of restaurants close by. The host was easy to work with, would definitely stay again!
Overall the cottage was great for the 4 of us. We really enjoyed our stay even though we got chased out of the Masters early Monday because of incoming rain and storms. Got notified by the Masters that we will get a full refund and have the chance to come back next year.
Bathroom was dirty and there was only 1 towel that didn't smell good. Kitchen seemed well stocked but used much. Beds were ok. Neighborhood was quiet. 1 year old enjoyed playing outside.Property owner did not communicate well.We would not stay here again.
My friend and I stayed at this location so we could attend a concert at the Columbia Performing Arts Center which is a really nice venue. The house was located centrally to what we wanted to do. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
Beautiful and relaxing, I will definitely be back. This house is great for any group and any occasion. I would suggest it as a great staycation just to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Still somehow minutes from everything. Thanks again
We so enjoyed our stay at this cozy, nicely decorated cottage by a pond. It felt remote and relaxing even though it was in the city limits of Evans. The host was really great to work with and very hospitable. We really hope to rent this cottage again.
Very convenient to Masters, groceries, and restaurants.
Much more comfortable than staying in an overpriced hotel.
Savanna is very pleasant and helpful.
Cute house perfect for relaxing after a day at the Masters. We sat on the deck after a great day watching golf. The house has all the amenities plus a 2 acre pond. We thought we were in the country!
Comfortable home with lovely pond view, and lots of nice little touches. We loved relaxing in the porch swing, and my husband and son really enjoyed the fishing. The exterior could use a good sweeping and a couple extra chairs in the dining area would be nice. They were 6 of us, with only 4 chairs.
Outstanding experience. The mid-century home is located on a roomy wooded lot. It's very near to modern Evans but with access to the natural beauty and tranquility characteristic of old Evans. The owner was very friendly and responsive to all my questions prior to booking. Check in was entirely stress-free (very important after a long drive). Beautiful decorated inside with a great view of nearby pond from the home's back deck. Wi-fi was fast and worked flawlessly during my entire stay. Hummingbirds, deer, and an occasional owl kept me from becoming too lonesome. Great choice for anyone traveling to Augusta seeking quiet country living with all the modern conveniences.
First off , the only thing I expected is cleanliness. Payed a lot on for 2 nights during the Masters. We would have rather stayed in a tent. It was so dirty! All doors were grimy.Windows had dirt and major cobwebs.Shower curtain had dirt and mold on it. Shower itself was gross.Black marks on pillow cases.Towels and sheets were all wrinkled and smelt. Patio furniture totally rusted.Refrigerator was filthy, and no ice in freezer. Walls in bad shape. Seriously, the pictures misrepresented this property. VRBO, you need to get this property off your website.
This past weekend we had the privilege to stay at the cottage. Our boys had a baseball tournament in Evans at Patriots Park. This home was absolutely perfect for the long weekend. It felt secluded and had great privacy but was close to town! The kids and adults loved the home and its character. The kids fished their hearts out and us adults loved watching from the balcony. All fish were returned to live another day. The cottage has everything you need. Will stay there again in the future.
This was the perfect getaway for us--two couples who are in their very senior years. We try to meet up at least once a year in a location midway between our homes which are located in SC and GA. This was a lovely place, quiet, yet convenient to any amenities we might have needed (but it was equipped well enough that we didn't need anything else). As technology-challenged seniors still using flip phones, we did have a bit of trouble with the "Smart" tv , but that was on us--not the hostess. Great place. We'd recommend it for those just looking for quiet relaxation in a lovely, convenient setting.
Location was perfect. 20 Min from Augusta. The house smelled like a cabin. Could have been cleaner/more attention to details. The cookware was unacceptable. Teflon pans were scratched and had layers of build up and rustlike residue. The kitchen wasnât really prepped for cooking due to condition of pans and lack of basic seasonings. It met our needs and the host was attentive and responsive.
