New Beach Home Ready for its Second Season

The Windy City Beach House was completed at the end of 2021. This will be its second season in service.

It is a spectacular home near town, but in the beautiful community of Beachside Village. The home has an 800 square foot wrap-around porch with an amazing view of the beach (2 lots out the front have not been built on yet so it has one of the best views in Beachside for a non beach-front home). It is only a 3-minute walk to the beach.

Walk out onto the enormous deck and enjoy the water view! There is a beautiful table outside that seats 10, with a near-by natural gas grill. There are also couches on the porch to enjoy the breeze. Both the sunrise and sunset can be viewed from the deck!
Enjoy the open layout of the home and the spacious kitchen with island. The kitchen has everything you can think of to prepare all kinds of meals, snacks, and beverages as you enjoy both inside and outside living. The 9’ live edge table will seat everyone.

The Windy City Beach House has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (and outdoor shower with temperature control). Children enjoy the bunk room with beautiful built in bunk beds. No children on your trip? Then use the queen bed in the bunk room instead. The house has fast internet, lots of board games, but no TV.

The Windy City Beach House does not have a TV.

The purpose of this house is to have fun outside, and the garage is full of activities, all available for your use. Items available include: 1) three bikes 2) foam surfboard 3) standup paddleboard 4) beach chairs, wagon, and canopy 5) pickleball, 6) two scooters 7) double kayak 8) small portable grill with charcoal for the beach 9) portable fire pit for the beach 10) two wagons for getting to the beach 11) towels, ice chests, sand toys.

Use our outdoor shower to easily rinse off sand and sunscreen from a day of fun at the beach!

BEACHSIDE VILLAGE
Beachside Village is one of Galveston's most popular and newer upscale neighborhoods, with picturesque, idyllic, colorful, coastal homes, all on stilts and all built with strict Victorian-style architecture. Beachside Village is the second closest neighborhood on the West End and is only minutes from the most popular activities on Galveston Island.

Beachside Village Community is a quiet residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 8 am.
Weddings, proms or large gatherings of any kind are not permitted in Beachside Village.
The house has parking for up to five vehicles on the property. Beachside Village HOA does not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Beachside Village HOA charges fees for non-compliance.
All reservations require a completed Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 11 am. Exceptions may be possible.

Also, we can give a further discount if you are willing to stay 2 or more weeks.
