Iâd describe this property as a boutique hotel, and it is truly beautiful. You absolutely cannot beat the location in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks from the plaza. In 15 minutes you can be in the heart of SF National Forest. The free parking behind the building is, of course, fabulous as is the access to washer/dryer (shared). Decor is top notch, and they have done a great job making good use of the fairly small space in the suite. However, I felt there was a lack of attention to detail in some aspects that could improve the stay and that fell short of what we thought was advertised in the listing: there is a substantial lack of hooks in the bathroom and elsewhere, the only mirror is a small one in the bathroom and the full-length is in the hallway, the shower sprays into the bathroom because the glass door only covers half of the opening, the mini Smeg fridge never got very cold, and the towels and toilet paper left a lot to be desired (especially given the promotion of the linens in the listing). Note the while there was lots of wonderful natural light in the room, itâs a first floor space with windows that look out into the parking lot, so you must draw all the window covers to change. Iâm also not entirely sure how effective the communication is between the owner and the housekeeping team. We asked for items (staples) that didnât arrive in a timely manner or arrived incorrectly. All of this being said, I do think we would stay here again.
