Whether you are strolling from dinner at Fortunato's along the brick streets or just making it back after a night of drinks and live music; it will be the perfect stay and end of a sun filled day at the beach.
Located just 8 minutes from Downtown St. Pete you will want to make time for the professional sports, 11 museums and all that is available.

The Space:
The Susie Q is an upstairs unit at The Gulfport. This lovely apartment overlooks Veterans Park and Boca Ciega Bay. Located just steps from downtown Gulfport our guests can enjoy all of the wonderful amenities onsite such as the grill area, outdoor fire pit, large backyard, sunny deck as well as 40" Smart TV and brand new furnishings or take in the local scene with wonderful restaurants, shops and entertainment.

Guest Access:
Guests can enjoy their private living quarters, shared grill area, shared out door fire pit, shared bikes, shared beach chairs and shared laundry room.

The Neighborhood:
Our homes are located in the art district of Gulfport. Being steps from town, you will see so many bicycles and golf carts along the street enjoying the park and the downtown area. Every Tuesday there is an all day market along Beach Blvd that brings hundreds of vendors and unique items. O'Maddys is a waterfront locals favorite, they have Karoake until 3am most nights, but you can check out their calendar of events on their website!! Fortunato's on Beach Blvd is one of our absolute all time favorite restaurants. Sit outside in the evening and listen to live music on the weekends. You will not regret it. We love the area because of the casual laid back feel all around. Most people are just there to enjoy the water and the family friendly feel of the town.

Getting Around:
There is public transportation along Beach Blvd that will take you anywhere in St. Petersburg you like. In the evenings, local families operate golf cart service to and from homes and restaurants in the neighborhood streets. You can catch them driving by usually from the front yard..but you are only steps away from the activity so we have never used the golf cart. Parking is free along the streets and across from our homes along the street.

Other Things to Note:
There may be guests in other units on the property. Please be respectful of parking, privacy and noise.

Interaction with Guests:
Our maid service may pop in and out of the laundry room area to help me out occasionally. We may say hi, but will give you your space and be gone in a flash if you don't feel like chatting. We can be reached the quickest through the app. Thanks!
