We were very worried after Hurricane Milton hit that our reservation would be canceled. We were assured that the place was in good condition. And it was! It was very nice and convenient to Gulfport shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay there again.
The cabin was loaded with everything we needed , the owners were very sweet and communicative. The private parking is a HUGE plus in this area! The beach , restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
We always enjoy our stay in Gulfport. The house was comfortable and well supplied. It is conveniently located to walk to the restaurants and shops. Being that convenient does also put the house close to the live music that is played so if youâre an early to bed person on the weekends, take that into consideration. The quiet time does begin around 10PM so itâs not that late. The layout of the house is spacious with the rooms being on either end, so great for spreading out. I found the beds to be softer than I like, but would consider staying her again. The host was quick to respond to any messages sent.
We loved Gulfport from our last visit last summer. We finally got the chance to try the majority of places we werenât able to last time and we are so glad we did! The restaurants are fabulous (with the exception of a couple) and the rental was a quick couple of minutes walk to everything. The yard was great for sitting in and chatting while listening to the local musicians. Immediately the the left of the house was a restaurant/pool hall with games that was kid and dog friendly! Overall this was a great trip and the house was perfect for the 3 days we were there.
We really loved our stay. The 6 footers in our family said they need a higher toilet. đ.
David was a great host and responded quickly whenever we Had a question. Wanted to return for 3 wks next March but unavailable. Maybe 2025đâ€ïž
A location to this little city which was easy to walk every where. The bars and restaurants had wonderful food options. We love Gulfport would come back. The room with one bed needs a ceiling fan or fan. The AC didnât pump in very well. Keep in mind we had 4 adults could have more toilet paper rolls than 2. Used the beach chairs the one in the sleeve is broken when we pulled it out to use at the beach. Just to let you know. Overall we loved it and location.
Mostly comfortable. There were some very nice features that dressed up the little cottage. The beds were very comfortable and clean, but the living room furniture was not very comfortable. We made it work out for us (we are seniors). The toilet was not a comfort height toilet and I had difficulties with that. My recommendation would be to put a comfort height toilet in the bathroom. There were plenty of towels and supplies left for renters Overall,,it was a positive experience. I love Gulfport!
The house was clean and more spacious than expected. Check-in and communication with the owner was seamless. I love this location in Gulfport. There are many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
The property is exactly as described neat and clean. The location was surprisingly better than we expected; its located half a block from a very cute street with lots of cafes and restaurants. The pier is located at the end of the street which is nice for fishing or leisurely walk. It's about a 12 minute drive to beautiful beaches on Treasure Island.
This house was just big enough for 3 adults and two small children. You canât beat the location of the site. Everything was easy and streamlined. I had little communication with the owner, but that was because it wasnât necessary. I would recommend staying here.
First I want to thank Dave so much you made everything wonderful and incredibly smooth. The house was so amazing and in the perfect spot of Gulfport. We walked 5 steps to great food, drinks, music , art walk and Farmers Market.
We had a wonderful time in the yard having a BBQ or ordering Chinese and having drinks. We walked to the pier and enjoyed ice cream in Gulfport. Highly recommend this great cottage. I stayed in the Blue House and hope to again soon.
We had a delightful time at the property. It has everything and more than you may need during your vacation. We loved walking the town, riding bikes, and visiting the the local beaches. The house is super comfortable, and was spacious for our family of 5.
We bought this property in 2018 and have been restoring it with the intention of recreating the beach camp that this property was back in 1939. At some point in its history the property became known as The Wishing Well. The renovation has truly been a labor of love. Each house has been beautifully renovated with its own unique features. The Wishing Well encompasses half of a city block and is a wonderful place to relax or enjoy all the fun and quirkiness of Gulfport! Located in the Art District in Gulfport it is steps to the coffee shops, art shops, restaurants, beach bars and beach.
Gulfport is small city on the west coast of Florida with a wonderful 'Old Florida' feel. Take in a baseball game, deep sea fishing, sailing or or see the many art galleries and shopping in neighboring St Pete. Make sure you visit Ft. Desoto Park. It is a 350 acre park on the beach. It has been voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the US and is truly magical at sunrise and sunset. The park is just a short drive from Gulfport.
