Modern and clean home, quick access to attractions

Hi Mike, our house has a history of being a haven for people that have to immediately check out from other short term rentals for mold related smells. Our home uses no air fresheners, nor other artificial means to mask air quality. You only reported an issue the night before you were checking out, leaving us no opportunity to see what was going on. Nor did you mention any breathing issues to me. After your stay was completed, you reported the "conditions were unacceptable", and pursued VRBO for a partial refund. Nothing in your situation was consistent with past guests that have had to vacate other short term rentals. "Unacceptable conditions" would have been acted upon immediately, as many of our past guests had done before coming to stay with us. July is the rainiest month of the year in GA, and therefore has the highest environmental airborne mold spores. Unless the home is sealed and the combustible systems operate off filtered air, you will still smell what nature is producing. Clean HVAC filters with MERV ratings are the best way to control that, which we do. We are sorry that your stay was not to your satisfaction, but argue the legitimacy of your claim.
