The house is beautiful and well maintained, but the experience was overshadowed by the host’s approach. It felt like they weren’t ready to rent out their home. The number of rules and restrictions was overwhelming, and locked drawers and chained doors created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Basic amenities like soap, shampoo, coffee, and tea were missing, forcing us to shop instead of enjoying a simple morning.The heating system was a major issue—freezing downstairs (55F) and unbearably hot upstairs (90F), despite following instructions. The host even admitted this problem upfront. Entertainment was limited: no streaming logins allowed, only an HDMI cord option, which isn’t practical for most travelers.What’s most concerning is that these limitations were revealed only after booking and on arrival, leaving no chance to make an informed decision. While the hosts were friendly and responsive, the experience lacked a hospitality mindset. If renting continues, I strongly recommend rethinking the approach: provide basic amenities, fix heating, and allow entertainment access. A rental should feel welcoming, not restrictive

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This house was cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect, in such a cute area of flagstaff. The hot tub was so nice and we could hear elk while we sat outside. The perfect place to enjoy the mountains with the whole family.

Everything was great at this location, the house and the interactions with owners. My only complaint is that it gets very warm upstairs. I was warned of this by the owners and given some ideas to redirect the air. Overall it was excellent and we would stay here again.

A winter delight home

We lucked out finding this clean, spacious three bedroom home with a hot tub spa. Immensely helpful to have coat racks, boot, glove/hat holders in the garage to keep the home clean and also store/dry our gear.

Upscale relaxation

We felt so comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful clean home on a quiet street right next to a wildland area. Everything was just perfect for our ski weekend and the spa was amazing! We love to cook and were happy to see the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to create fabulous meals. The couch and bed so comfy and plenty of hot water in the luxury showers. We also saw a family of deer walking through the neighborhood - we will definitely be back.

At home feeling

House was very well kept and clean. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well Equipped with items to cook although I did have to go buy seasoning they only had salt and pepper, but no big deal. Backyard was big so it was fun messing around playing in snow. Location wasn’t to far from downtown and neighborhood was great! Owners were responsive and easy to deal with during stay! A personal preference would have been to have tvs in bedrooms or at least master as I enjoy watching movies in bed on cold stormy winter days, but again just personal preference and I would definitely stay in home again!
