This suite is located right on the ocean along a quiet stretch of South Highway A1A in Melbourne Beach Florida. We are 8 miles south of the intersection of Route 192 and route A1A. a few minutes away is Driftwood Plaza, where you will find a Public super market and other stores including a restaurant, gas station and liquor store. Melbourne beach public library, other restaurants and Spessard Holland golf courses are only a few minutes away.
You can unwind on our Oceanview deck overlooking a quiet, uncrowded beach. Take a walk on our beautiful beach and enjoy the ocean breeze, sandpipers and pelicans and dolphins . From April through September you can observe the nesting sea turtles and if you're lucky enough you might see a passing whale and her calf. I've been told Melbourne Beach is part of the only known calving grounds for the entire North Atlantic Right Whale species. They have become critically endangered and there are fewer than 70 reproductive females remaining.
Your two bedroom air condition, non-smoking oceanfront suite has a living room with adjacent dining area, a separate fully equipped kitchen and two private bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. There's a living room. The living room and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Cable TV, and unsecured WIFI are provided.
The kitchen contains a full-size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker plus all dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware. Bed linens, pillows, towels and washcloths are also provided.
Outside is the patio with picnic table and charcoal grill. There is a grassy backyard and a deck overlooking the beach with steps leading down to the sand.
There's also a laundry area with washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.
Barrier Island Sanctuary is a short drive south with many educational exhibit, films and special activities. Snorkeling, pier fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, boating are available at nearby Sebastian Inlet State Park.
Melbourne beach is a fisherman's paradise and possibly catch a drum fish ,pompano, flounder, blue fish and many more species.
Nearby Vero Beach has great shopping and restaurants. You can also enjoy the space Coast and if you're lucky you can view a launch from the property.
In the city of Melbourne is theater, symphony orchestra, Art Museum, zoo, botanical gardens and minor league baseball. Cape Canaveral, Disney and Orlando attractions are an easy drive away.
This suite is an ideal spot whether you were looking for a place to relax and unwind or is home base from which to explore the many Florida attractions.
