Third year staying here for spring break. Great owner and location!
Can definitely see the changes, each year has been better than the previous. If the dates were opened again for â25 I would be back
We very much enjoyed our time here. The house is right across from the beach and walking distance (like a block away)to several restaurants and bars. The hot tub could use a little more privacy, but beyond that, it's a comfortable and inviting house with a well equipped kitchen. We'd stay here again.
House is AMAZING! Updated living room furniture from pics online. Also updated bedroom furniture. Would highly recommend. We stayed for 3 nights! House is perfect size, location is outstanding! Equipped with everything you could need! Will definitely stay again if in that area! Host is very friendly and helpful with everything đ
The house was very nice. The bedroom that shows bunk beds in the photos actually had the top bunk removed and clean. You will want to pack house shoes as there are no rugs or carpeting and the sand is intense.
Repeat stay. We initially stayed last year and reserved our time slot this year when we were still there.
Simply; great manager, location and price.
This time around had 5 instead of 4 people staying at the property and spent 2 weeks vice 1. Plenty of room for everyone and with it just across the street from the beach had plenty to do. The property is no frills yet it has everything you need for a week (or longer).
Already booked again for 2024.
We had a family gathering using this house and 3 units across the street. It was nice being close to each other. I like firm mattresses, so I was a happy camper. The kitchen was great, and we made good use of the large eating area. The couch & futon were not comfortable for hanging out. The outside shower came in very handy, and we appreciated the nice laundry facilities. The kitchen is well stocked, too.
It would have been helpful to have an email OR a notebook with information telling us about the wifi, the tv, the thermostat, check-out policies, etc. Also, the photos online need to be updated for the living room and the bedroom that no longer has bunk beds.
Farther from the beach than stated online. The hot tub was dirty and needed chemicals badly. The grill was very dirty and barely worked. Kitchen is well stocked and house decorated nicely. Blinds are missing some slats. There aren't any lounge chairs and only seating for 2 on the porch. Some of the light switches don't work. I found a pair of underwear in back of the toilet. The bathroom floor needs a good scrubbing. The air conditioning was erratic and didn't hold a constant temperature. The tv only had streaming; no local news/programming. But it was walking distance to bars and restaurants as well as close to other services.
There is a lot going for this place. I stayed here with my wife and our three kids (10,3 and 1). First off, the house is a lot larger than I thought it would be. We had a ton of space and its laid out in a nice way so that everyone can really spread out. It was immaculately clean, bathrooms had plenty of extra towels, there was extra bedding, kitchen is stocked with everything we needed for cooking and had a fun spice cabinet array. We did not use the hot tub on the porch but it was on and hot if we wanted to. Also loved the outdoor shower he has set up that makes coming back from the beach super easy. I don't care how many times you use the beach shower, some of it always come back with you. We brought our own beach amenities but there was some available if we had not. Overall, the owner has thought of every thing and provided a little bit extra.
The location is amazing. Its literally a block to the crosswalk and your at the beach. The beach is a public beach which is really nice, no worries about cutting through a resort or anything like that. It also has a huge playground so if you needed to wear your littles out just a bit more without the sand that's an option. About half a block away is a small plaza with some food options, shopping and a cafe that made some pretty good lattes. Otherwise it was a short 5 minutes drive down the A1A and your options are almost unlimited. Great find!
Whenever we needed to contact Tim he was always prompt and polite :)
Can walk to beach You do have to cross a major street but it is not bad really. There is a volleyball, walkway to beach, places to eat, walgreens, pizza and nail places. You might not be able to see the beach from the house but if you are looking for a walkable house this is perfect. We really enjoyed the bar and grill on the corner - forgot the name. The only thing missing is a walmart/something similiar in walking distance but there is both a publix & walmart within about 5 miles from the house. The house itself had eveything we needed & much more. We loved the private jacuzzi and it was clean. I do recommend not to have more than 2-3 people in it. The deck setting was perfect as well with the screen in deck. Loved the shower outside for sand. The only issue I had was that the picture showed 3 beds in one room (only 1) and the the other king room had bunk beds (only the bed) . So we thought we did have more actual beds but it was that they had 2 rollaway beds instead that we had to pull out of the closet which was fine just wish that would have been posted instead is all. There is still plenty of sleeping space w/ sofa bed and a futon. So it was not an issue for us just had to rearrange where everyone was going to sleep. We will for sure stay here again. great communication as well.
The location was great! My adult kids loved being able to walk to the beach often while we were there. Tim and his family were great to answer any questions we had and to tell us about things going on in the area that we wouldn't have known about otherwise! Thank you again!
I was pleased with the rental, the location was great and the price was nice. No major issues other then maybe needing a few more pillows for the pullout beds and cots that provides more sleeping spots. I would definitely recommend to people wanting to stay in the area.
Overall great experience. Property is legitimately right across the road (A1A). Property had a a number of beach items that was really helpful. For those not familiar with the location there is a grocery store (Publix) about 2 miles away. Top that with a number of small mom and pop restaurants you cannot go wrong.
Took an afternoon and went to cocoa for an airboat ride, there is another west on 192 as well.
All in all, so much to day. The recommendation, on day 2, booked another trip to this same spot.
We had a great experience.
Pros: The house was good sized, plenty of sleeping spaces. The price was great for being right across from the beach. The house was clean. The air conditioning worked awesome. Tim was very good about getting back to us quickly.
Cons: The living room furniture should be replaced, it's very dated and uncomfortable, There was no tv in the queen bedroom. The hot tub was small, but worked great (104), only 1 large person or 2 small people without the water emptying out.
The price made up for any of the cons. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.
Paradise Beach House is right across the street from the ocean and is your Best choice for a beach side getaway ! Close to shopping and restaurants will make your stay very enjoyable .
