Remote living close to town with a large front window providing a panoramic view of Buckhannon WV. Lofted bedroom overlooking living room w luxurious leather furniture, romantic gas logs sitting next to a tranquil koi pond.
Great spot to stay! Very convenient for Strawberry Festival parade and activities- we were pleasantly surprised by the location and proximity to the parade route. This was my first time utilizing VRBO, and Iâm very pleased. Everything we needed was there, and my experience here has definitely motivated me to seek out other VRBO properties for future trips.
Location in town and central to our activities was very convenient. Everything was as expected and interaction with Host was easy and quick. Outside patio area and coy fish were a treat. The extra supplies in the kitchen and bath were unexpected and appreciated. We thank you for making our 3 night stay a pleasure and helping us make new memories.
This cottage was perfect for the intended purpose of getting away and still being close to town if we needed to run out and get back quickly. Parking area is small so if you have a large truck it will be a tight fit.
The hosts really put a personal touch on everything in the home. It was cozy with plenty of the amenities needed to be comfortable. The neighbors/neighborhood was very quiet and clean.
The town has a few fun things to do, but was not enough for the length of time we stayed.
My sister and I live 9 hours apart and we met near the middle for a girls weekend. We arrived late Friday, stayed up til 3 and awoke at 9 to talk until 3pm when we finally ventured to CJ Maggieâs for veggie pizza. Delicious! We returned to the house and talked until midnight. While it was a short visit, we were very at home and comfortable in the rental just drinking coffee and catching up.
This place is adorable and the hosts put much thought into making sure their gusts have everything they need and can find it! Great communication and very friendly in person as well. We really enjoyed our cottage on the hill.
I'm a military "Brat" that grew up around the world. I hiked around Europe in my younger days and developed a love of nature and the freedom of spending time in wilderness. Thats why becoming a forester was the perfect career for me.
We are close to town for convenience, but the neighborhood feels like we are in the country. it's a family friendly neighborhood but most of the neighbor kids ours grew up with are raising families of their own now. We see lots of wildlife rooming through and enjoy the peace and quiet,
Everyone seems to have the same reaction when they walk in. "Wow this is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside". The cottage is cozy and quiet and fully equipped for short or long stays. The stone patio with the koi pond is a tranquil place to sit and read or sip your morning coffee.
