Beautiful cabin and location

We had the best stay at this location. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Secluded and looked over the river. The owner was great to communicate with. She gave us great ideas for sight seeing and things to do. We loved it.

Relaxing retreat in the woods

Inside the cabin was cozy and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay. The cabin was clean inside but no one had tended to the porch, fire pit and outdoor table. It looked as though no one had cleaned it since winter ended.

I loved this cabin stay. I enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The cabin was clean and stocked with necessities. The bed was super comfy and overall felt comfortable and relaxing. It provided my fiancé and I a great vacation and allowed us to have some alone time.

This was a nicely appointed and very attractive cabin. We have stayed in a number of VRBO properties over the past few years. This is one of our favorites.

Sight seeing trip to Roanoke West Virginia

Cabin was very nice. Just the way we like it, more trees and animals than people. The cabin was clean and stocked for all we needed. Loved the porch swing on the rainy evenings. Owners were vwry responsive when contacted and when we forgot some of our stuff they graciously mailed it to us. Would stay again!

Great cabin in WV

The cabin was so nice. Very private setting. The Stonewall Resort is close. Spiral staircase, great decks, firepit. Easy to get to New River Gorge and Seneca Rocks. Nearby Weston was a nice town. American Glass Museum and Thyme Bistro are two places to go. We enjoyed it!

Convenient and cozy cabin

The cabin was a perfect getaway for us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the grill made it easy and quick to put together meals. We loved being close to the state park for hikes and near Weston - Appalachian Glass was great for gifts! The hot tub was a treat and Kelly and Jimmie were helpful and quick to respond. We’d recommend for a couple or a family.

Cabin getaway

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getway! The firepit was amazing and the property was beautiful. Owners were very easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. Location felt secluded but still close enough to activities and stores. We went to Weston and highly recommend checking out the Appalachian glass store. Would absolutely recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing vacation.

Very nice cabin! Not far from town and food/stores. Lots of wildlife to view and very quiet for being right off the road. Wi-Fi is spotty and bathroom turns into a sauna very quickly (no exhaust fan) but otherwise a very pleasant stay! Owners were friendly and responsive to any questions/concerns we had.

Quiet hideaway in the trees

Beautiful sunsets. Right off the road but very quiet and surrounded by dense tree cover. Located near Stonewall Resort and state park lands. Super soft beds. Driveway passable in low clearance car(summertime).

Raonoke, West Virginia Trip

This cabin has wonderful attributes that made our trip very enjoyable - solitude, firepit, hot tub, a beautiful deck with lounge seating, beautiful design and easy access from the road. When we were not traveling, we spent time around the firepit, sitting on the deck and just resting.

Cabin on Stonewall Jackson Lake

Comfy and cozy cabin in the woods! A perfect place for our family to relax and reconnect! Beautiful setting overlooking the lake! The hot tub was peaceful and calming! Host was responsive to all questions and helpful and kind! We loved it here…we got to experience snow, sunshine and rain that week in the woods and loved every minute of our stay!

I built this home myself for a summer retreat for my family. It’s a very nice secluded area, no neighbors, private, and right down the road from Stonewall Jackson Resort. The resort offers lunch, dinner, lounge, pool ,sauna, boating, golf, kayaking, cruises, clay shooting, and much more.

This cabin is one of the rare few that you will find near the lake that is privately owned. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Thank you for your interest!

We have provided a set of corn hole boards and 4 kayaks available for your use. Guests are asked to sign a release form prior to arrival if they wish to use the watercraft.
