If you love nature, kayaking and river life, you’ll enjoy this property. Listening to the peaceful sounds of nature in the morning and cruising around the canals made it memorable. Suggest renting a round boat, they will deliver to your dock. We tried but they were none bc we only just learned about them. Property was clean and has basic needs covered.

The property was great! Everything was very professional and the host left a binder with a lot of ideas, maps, and pertinent information about the area. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone. Not a fancy mansion, but more than accommodating. Woke up today and said goodbye to three manatees that were within arms reach at our dock. The trip on the river with the included kayaks and paddles was worth the experience alone.

Our family and fur babies had a great time on the river. This home was our second time staying and met our expectations! Great neighbors and we enjoyed Bayport Inn and Lazy Lizard! We look forward to returning and enjoying the manatees and river life!

Awesome place to stay with the family! The home was super clean, and the check in process was a breeze! The dock and screened in patio was a perfect spot to relax and the water right off the dock is perfect for swimming!

Morris Family River Trip

We had a great time and was at a great spot. Our kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and we were able to rent a boat and keep at the dock. This place had everything we needed.

Great place for the price

We loved being on the river! The place was super clean and had everything we needed even ice and coffee. Its a little dated, like staying at Grandma’s house but it had TV’s in both bedrooms and living room with fans!! We loved sitting by the river and watching the wildlife and neighbors! Lol!

Great river access

Single wide mobile home was clean a little on the older side, however, one kayak was unable to be used, which kind of made things a little difficult share our concerns with the owner close to grocery stores convenience store very nice neighbors. FYI, initially it says three bedrooms but the third bedroom is the pullout couch.

Birthday weekend

We celebrated my husband's birthday. It is tradition that we go to Weeki Watched for his birthday with family every year. The stay was perfect. We were able to see a Manatee and her baby swim by the dock, catch a few mullets and swim right in front of the dock. Our fur babies enjoyed the fenced in yard and the water as well. The neighbor was very nice and friendly. We hope to return next year.

Property was clean inside and out. Located on a canal, about a 10 minute paddle to main river. However, property could use some updates. I had messaged the owner before booking to confirm the number of kayaks after reading previous reviews. Yes there are several kayaks and a paddle board but the seats are all broken. The kayak launch is terrible! It is difficult getting in and out due to the mushy sand. The ladder on the Deck needs a handle to help get in and out of the water. There is nothing to grab on to. The shower in the back bedroom does not get hot and has no water pressure. The mattress in the back bedroom is awful unless you like sleeping on a flat rock. Property was ok for a weekend trip but not sure I’d stay for a longer period of time.

Wikee Wachee Stay

Nice property, a bit high priced and when inside there there is no view or easy connection to the water. Going from the house to the dock one walks down a dirt-sand-grass hill that overflows onto the dock. We made this 2 months before so price reflects limited options. Refrigerator hard to adjust, when we arrive it was on full and froze all our vegetables. Screened in porch on dock is a nice idea that attracted us but there were many tears and holes in the screens and the floor had cracks through to the river. The porch was dirty and had not been clean for a long time. It was more like a room that trapped bitting gnats. The door on the screened in porch was jammed when opening. Two Kayaks each needed repair. Seats were cheap replacements with little to no back support. They each had screw holes from missing tied downs, clips or missing drain plugs. Getting from the dock into the Kayaks is tricky at low tied since the dock is 3’ above the water and it can be challenging for some to get in a Kayak from a ladder. All in all we love the area, the accommodations were clean and inside the house reasonably maintained.except one toilet that did not flush well and rocked on the floor.
