Our company had a guest from France that was training at our location in Burnsville and this offered a great home for her. The views and home were top notch. The owners were very responsive and helpful with an AC question. I would stay here!
Fabulous location, cabin, view and host.Canât recommend enough. If you will be skiing Hatley Point make sure you book ahead. They max out quickly and turn away overflow. Missed day ski but managed to grab night ski and had a wonderful weekend. Will book again next ski season!
The owners were super helpful and were sure to check in on us from time to time via email. The place was very clean and the views were amazing! We would definitely recommend staying here!
I could not believe how great this property was â stunning location, beautiful guest home, and fully stocked with any and all kitchen utensils / supplies. I would definitely recommend this stay!
We were thrilled to stay at this location to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! It was everything we needed. To wake up every morning and eat breakfast at the table outside was our absolute favorite. The swings at the bonfire was very relaxing and just to take in all that nature! We will be definitely staying here again we even told our family about our wonderful stay.
Tiffany and Zach were great hosts! The property was absolutely gorgeous - stunning views and a really nice place. Hot tub & fireplace were epic!!! The dogs were an added bonus - so sweet. Will definitely be back!
This place is absolutely beautiful!!! It was the perfect spot for our girl's trip!!! The hosts were amazing! They answered any questions quickly and cared about us! We will definitely be back!
Beautiful view and so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle
We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, a beautiful view, great directions and we loved the visit from the neighbors dogs. Everything was exactly as described and contact with Tiffany was a breeze. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our vacation.
My friend and I decided to do a quick weekend getaway. This place definitely made you feel like you were in a home. Simple and clean. Not too far from Asheville proper.
Hot tub and view of the sky was very amazing!
a gorgeous property - quiet with beautiful views. Communication with host was outstanding . We had a small glitch and she could not have been more accommodating
The scenery here was amazing and we had so much privacy, it was so nice. The kids loved the fire pit and the neighborsâ dogs that came by!
It was only a few minutes to wolf ridge snow tubing, which the kids loved!
Great location. Private. Quiet. Cozy. Awesome communication with owner. Can't wait to visit again. Location was close enough to local entertainment but far enough way that we didn't have traffic or noise. 5 star all around.
The view from the cabin was gorgeous and the cabin itself was really cute. We got a couple of clear nights and we could see the Milky Way.
The hosts were really friendly and made sure we were well accomodated.
It's about 15 minutes from any stores or restaurants but the kitchen had everything we needed to be able to stay in and cook once we picked up ingredients. Wasn't too far from Asheville and we spent an evening getting dinner in town.
The road up to the cabin is gravel and can be a little tricky but I was able to make it up and down in my sedan even after it rained.
The host was fabulous. Quick responses. She went above and beyond. I told her weâd be making Christmas cookies over our stay (so I was asking about certain utensils)- she went out and bought a rolling pin and some cute Christmas cookie cutters. The house was decorated for Christmas with a tree and several other decorations. WiFi worked great for watching movies. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was nice and the views were amazing.
We loved our stay here! Very relaxing, remote location with great amenities. Very nice, clean interior with lots of cooking equipment.
Only issue was that this property was shared with another rental, which was not clear to us until we arrived. Some of the amenities were shared between the rentals. A family arrived part-way through our trip with loud kids, which put a slight damper on what was supposed to be a romantic getaway for our anniversary.
Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay, and we spent most of our trip out and about, so it was still really enjoyable!
This seems like a great location for a family to stay, but it might not be great for you if you are looking for a quiet getaway.
We had plans at Wolf Ridge and this was the perfect location. We also took a short afternoon trip to hike in TN. Lots of local activities around that didnât show up in my maps when I was planning our trip. Others commented on the driveway, and while it is a bit steep, itâs fairly mild as mountain driveways go. AWD (or 4x4) is best, but Iâd venture to say as long as it isnât snowy or muddy a 2WD car could do just fine. The host was very responsive and helpful and the dogs were incredibly sweet! We will be back :)
If you are looking for a quiet weekend getaway, this is the place. Fall or Spring would be perfect times to visit here. There are other rented properties on the lot but whomever had it when we were there was quiet.
There are not restaurants close by so you will either be getting groceries or going for a drive. 30 min to Asheville. 15 min to the closer town with grocery and a couple of restaurants.
The driveway is gravel and quite steep so be advised if you are in a vehicle that does not have a lot of clearance or all wheel drive.
Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and we were not informed until the day we were supposed to arrive that it was broken.
To reiterate others comments, there is no central AC and the portable units are quite noisy. They had not been turned on prior to our arrival either and because itâs an apartment above a garage, it was hot.
The place was super clean and everything worked. They had plenty of towels and a good assortment of kitchen stuff.
