Sleepy unit with fantastic views in close proximity to the entrance of the Colorado National Monument. The unit is 1/2 of a duplex and sleeps 6 with room for a couple more if needed. Both sides can be rented if a larger group capacity is needed. See listing 2515712 on VRBO. This unit is popular with visitors as it is next door to the Lunch Loops trails and one can access the trails directly from the property. In the sunroom, the views and peaceful landscape make for some great morning coffee. Visitors will be greeted by a covey of wild quail that roam the property. High end bicycle rentals available. Uber/Lyft do operate locally.
This property is very clean, quaint and comfortable during all seasons of the year. It is accessible to some of the best spots in town and yet set in a peaceful, more remote area. Always enjoyable !
This property is in a great location near the monument. The views from the property are really nice. It was quiet and had everything for a very enjoyable long weekend. We plan to be back in the future!
A nice property close to all the great things in Grand Junction. A fully functional duplex with everything you will need. Downtown, Lunch Loops, and the Monument are just mere minutes away.
Overall we enjoyed staying here! This rental had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the accessibility to nearby trails. Our only complaints would be the cleanliness wasnât up to professional standards. There was toothpaste dried up in the bathroom sink upon arrival, the grill outside was rusty, and some chairs outside had food stains splattered on the cushions. We also saw mouse poop all over the floor in the sunroom and there was some on the bed in that room as well.
Overall ok property inside- I think he updated what he needed to so it could be rented out. Outside could use some upkeep. Only had two bath towels for 5 guests. The view is unbelievable and lunch loop path is right in the back yard. Thomas answered right away when we had an issue with the lock.
A basic accommodation, but fantastic views of the National Monument and surrounding area. An outdoor lovers paradise. Basically backs onto the Lunch Loops and the Colorado National Monument. Super convenient location to eateries and groceries just down the road. 15 mins from the airport. Thomas was a great host and managed to meet my fragrance sensitivity requirements. Would highly recommend.
Clean, quiet, amazing views and accessible to all the great activities in and around the Redlands area. The property is a duplex on a large rural setting that backs directly to the just completed bike/walking trail in the area (Tabeguache) There are two bedrooms- one main with a queen, a second with a good size bunk beds. There is also a queen size bed in an enclosed porch area. So plenty of space for a good number of people- but only one bathroom. The property is probably built in the 70s and and shows some use, but everything worked and updates continue to be made (noticed a newer dishwasher than online pics). There is a fenced in area in the back for dogs and a washer/dryer in the garage.
Brought my son and his friends for a biking weekend. Location was great for them to take off for rides from the house. Basic accommodations, but well stocked and clean. Thomas was a great host and responsive to any questions.
Met Tom when we checked in. He immediately showed us around and told us about the area. Really enjoyed the mornings having coffee on the back patio looking at the monument and mountain range. Had a couple issues while we were there and Tom came over virtually immediate to correct. Loved where we stayed and would most definetly stay there again. Tom even has a small pond he keeps filled with water to attract wildlife for his guests to see.Great host. Thanks for great stay Tom.
Very pleasant stay. Beds were comfy and the place had everything we needed. We didnât spend a lot of time at this rental and didnât cook anything, so canât attest to the amenities, but it seemed to have everything you would need. There is a washer and dryer that worked great. Saw the quail and bunnies a lot and the view of the Monument was awesome. Great location to the Monument, as well as lots of hiking/biking! Downtown was like 8 minutes away too. Safeway was just down the hill. The only negative, if you can call it that, was that the floor creaked a bit when walking around so if you are trying to be quiet, itâs a little hard. Would stay again.
Comfortable, easy space to relax and enjoy the view and amazing access to trails and Colorado National Monument. Host was easy to reach, helpful and accommodating. We look forward to visiting again.
