The ocean is calling. Here is your chance to answer & get close to nature. Incredibly private & loaded with wildlife, yet nestled close to both Sullivan & Franklin, this AIR CONDITIONED retreat features a bright sunroom. The outdoor area has a large patio with outdoor dining as well as incredible water views. The horseshoe pit also enjoys that same water view. There is an acre of fenced in yard making this an extra friendly spot for your four-legged friend.

LIVING AREA After blissful or adventurous (you get to choose!) day, watch a movie TV in the welcoming living area. The attached sunroom has a pellet stove. This home is located 20 mins from Ellsworth & is in a great location for all kinds of day trips in the Downeast area.

KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is well-equipped with full appliances, drip coffee maker & ample counter space.
BED & BATH This home sleeps 6 guests in 2 bedrooms The main bedroom has a queen-size bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed.

The 3rd bedroom is really special. It offers complete privacy & is in its own separate suite over the garage. It has a separate entrance and comes complete with a kitchenette and a small living room area. The bedroom has a full bed and tv.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES This waterfront haven includes a horse shoe pit and a large deck with alfresco dining and wonderful views. The sprawling 2-acre property presents plenty of room to unwind. Yes, you can kayak or canoe right in your backyard. Did we mention the wildlife? So much to see... Be sure to watch the tide! There is a fenced in pen for your furry friend!
LOCATION - Find a variety of delicious eateries within a 5 -10-min drive from home in Sullivan and Franklin. Head to Tidal Falls Nature Preserve or enjoy another nearby hiking area. For a fun day trip, drive 40 minutes to Bar Harbor….

Acadia's BEST KEPT SECRET - This home is located in the heart of the Schoodic Peninsula. This parcel of the park offers spectacular views of Mount Desert Island and is the “quiet side” of Acadia National Park.

Located in Sullivan, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Bar Harbor Whale Watching is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park's Visitors Center and Cadillac Mountain. Seacoast Fun Park and Rooster Brother Coffee Roasters are also worth visiting. Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking/biking trails nearby.

10 days on the Narrows

Loved how close to the water with easy access to the shore. Inside was very clean and comfortable. Wish more care was taken to the exterior and landscaping.

So cute, can’t believe but this house has everything and more!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Charming , clean, equipped with everything that you might think of. Located on a shoreline. Unfortunately house itself is 55 minutes away from majority of trails in Acadia National Park We had a power outage in the last night of stay because of storm and management was rude over the phone, but it was 7am on Sunday, so not a big deal, she did sent a follow up message few minutes later apologizing. Overall happy with my stay anyway

My husband, son and his fiancé stayed five nights at this location. Accommodations were spot on! Kitchen was nicely stocked. Vicinity was great for Acadia and other areas we wanted to visit. Had no issues while we stayed there.

So amazing that I wish I could keep it to myself!

We had the absolute BEST time here. The property was immaculate & exactly as advertised. There were no surprises at any point with billing, check-in, check-out, etc. The location was PERFECT for visiting Acadia & is relatively close to stores & takeout, but definitely feels remote (which we LOVED). We were even able to get an emergency doordash order of groceries we needed for a dinner we cooked during our stay. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that for those who enjoy some of the darker things in life, there is a beautiful cemetery next door! We were delighted to find it during our first chance to explore the property. Most importantly, we were able to bring our adventure-dog with us & she felt right at home here; it was nice to see her rest easy after long days of adventuring. TL;DR; The entire process was smooth sailing from start to finish, with incredibly accommodating hosts, & I fully regret that I didn't book for longer. We can't wait to make this our yearly vacation spot!!!
