It was a very tranquil and refreshing stay. We had such a nice time that our only wish is that we had stayed longer. Everything we needed was right there at the home, from a water boiler for making tea, to fire-starters and dry logs on a rainy day! We lived this little getaway!

We had a terrific vacation here. It was quiet and the forest was teeming with the beautiful sounds of nature. It was nicely appointed inside and outside. The driveway is daunting the first time, but after a time or two it is fine.

😊 Always like to see 😊 the word “terrific” in a guest experience. Taking the time to walk the Lake Zwerner trail, then head back to Nordic Overlook to repeat your peaceful downtime all over again. Nordic Overlook will have you in such a calming 🧘 effect that you will want to come back every chance you get. For those not accustomed to driving on North Georgia ⛰mountains it takes some time to acclimate. Glad it worked out for you during your stay.

Hands down the most well thought out rental we have stayed in. Everything you could need plus plenty of extras- like a fully equipped picnic basket! Our favorite part of the stay was drinking coffee fireside while watching deer meander through the forest.

Nice, quirky little place

It's just secluded enough, but still close to lots of things. We hit Montaluce Vineyards for an excellent dinner, very much enjoyed the tour and spirits at Big Creek distillery, did some hiking, and even made it to the outlet mall in Dawsonville. Cheers!

Wonderful mountain retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nordic Overlook. Just the right distance from the college, the wineries, and great hiking locations. Our host was helpful and communicative. We will definitely stay again next time we're visiting UNG.
