Overall the Cozy Cabin was excellent. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Made our trip to Georgia very memorable. Already planning on booking it again for next year.
We had a nice stay over the weekend. We were looking forward to grilling, but the grill was pretty dirty, outside and inside the grill, so we did not use it. The hot tub was nice. The liner in the shower could be changed as well. The scenery was beautiful. It was nice and quiet.
Stayed here before cabin 7 became Vrbo listing. Cabin has degraded. Blinds need replacing, not as clean, no spatula for myriad old fry pans, one stove burner not working, what happened to the useful notebook with helpful instructions? On positive note, the former ragged sofa has been replaced.
Cabin was dirty, floors filthy and dust on every surface. A/c was broken. Linens and towels were dirty/musty, smelled terrible (even found a floss pick in the sheets!) - had to supply our own. Bathtub was slimy and shower was broken. Pots and pans were rusted and unusable. Messaged and called host several times and had ZERO response. Even the âCavender Creek Cabinsâ number went straight to voice mail and no one responded. Trash was so full we had to leave ours inside the cabin. Hot tub cover was broken so could only open halfway. Toiletries were promised but none actually there. Only positive was the location. We made the best of it but would never return to this rental.
This was my second time staying here and I love it every time. The location is perfect. Itâs close to town and all of the wineries. Anytime I reach out to the host she is always prompt in answering any questions I have.
My husband and I stayed over the Valentine's weekend. Perfect lil getaway from us. Cabin had everything we needed and the town was a short drive away, with lots of food options. We very much enjoyed it.
Loved the place exactly as described. Just a couple things i would add would be steps to get in hot tub, and bigger skillets for cooking. Other than that fantastic place to get away and stay
We recently enjoyed a three night stay at this quaint, little cabin. It is on the banks of Cavender Creek in a beautiful location. It is conveniently located near Dahlonega but just far out enough to give the feel of a secluded mountain cabin. The cabin was well suppled with the essentials and in a central location for the vineyards and all the other activities in the area. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and restful mountain getaway.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and quiet. We never left the cabin all weekend. Everything we needed was provided in the cabin and I brought food for us. We used the grill and it felt like we were at home. We also walked the property and enjoyed the pond. It was nice
Property was very clean . The setting was very relaxing and quiet. We walked along the stream and built a fire in the fire ring. The driveway was a little scary the 1st time but i got better once familiarize. Overall all it was a nice stay.
Hot tub had an odd smell; water was cloudy. Grill is not mentioned in online listing because it does not work. This cabin doesnât have a dishwasher, which is ok, but there werenât any dish towels. Bring soap for shower, there is only a glass dispenser for sink. Use a towel for a bath mat. Coffee maker uses pods and grounds, but no filters were there, nor pods. The grounds at cavender creek are beautiful!!
