Our stay was most enjoyable. The view and location was exceptional. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation.
So so impressed with this place. Location was perfect. Cabin was GORGEOUS! Our friend group will be back. Beds were so comfortable. Hot tub was amazing! Canât wait to come back!
The cabin is clean with well-appointed, bathrooms and bedrooms. While we didnât watch much tv, they were easy to use when we did. Our adult kids enjoyed the hot tub, and they got beautiful sunset pictures from the porch. The dining room aaa big enough for the family to eat together comfortably.
The view and property were beautiful. The bears were not shy, though, and with kids it was a little scary. There were young bears wrestling on the back porch, one got in a locked minivan somehow and car alarms were set off several times throughout the night from bears trying to get in them. We were VERY careful with trash and food. We are from Florida, so familiar with black bears and alligators so made sure to stay clear and that no trash or food was around. The beds were comfy, enough room for family - 15 members. Really appreciated the air fryer and tea kettle. The only thing missing was a dish rack to dry pots and pans.
We had the best time. Tons of space for everyone. The littles had a game room to entertain themselves and the view was great. Even had a bear open a car door which was exciting for everybody. Very close to Gatlinburg city limits. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas get together
My family and I had the best pre-Christmas stay! The home is so cozy and great for groups. We had 11 people and everyone slept comfortably and great! Plenty of kitchen eating space as well with 2 tables. Great location being close to downtown Gatlinburg as well but also can take the bypass to miss any traffic. Definitely be sure to lock your car doors, we had someone forget and a bear did get in their car! (Although nothing was messed up) which the property manager reminded us of, they just forgot one day.. Overall A and we would definitely pick this cabin to stay again in the future!!
We had three families staying here during spring break and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The open spaces were inviting and comfortable, while the three king suites offered appropriate privacy. Owners were quick to respond to one minor issue. We would definitely choose this property again!
Cabin was great. Parking a bit tricky but manageable. Layout was teriffic giving everyone room to spread out. Private baths in each room was a big plus with everyone getting ready to go out. Black bears a plenty, with one or more dropping by most evenings enroute to somewhere else. Thouroughly enjoyed the stay, 6/9/24-6/15/24.
This home was beautiful. Weâve stayed in the smokies many times & this house was very nice. Iâve listed the pros and cons below. Pros: large home with everything you need & fun games on the lower level. Every room except one has its own bathroom. The tubs are beautiful and the showers have rain shower heads. The upstairs bedrooms & common area have their own a/c units which is nice in the Tennessee heat. Itâs just a few minute drive to the parkway and the views are incredible. Added bonus, multiple bears daily. Some walk up the side of the house while on the deck so make sure you keep your head on a swivel so you donât miss them. Cons (more informative than complaints): the drive up the mountain is windy and steep in some spots. Itâs a typical gburg home so make sure everyone in your party is comfortable with the drive. The driveway is tricky. If you have a car that is somewhat low to the ground, you will want to back in on the right side closest to the rock wall. If you center your vehicle or try to back in on the left, youâll bottom out. Water pressure in the upstairs bathroom to the right has low pressure. We also would have liked a few more hangers for clothing.Overall, beautiful home that we would love to book again. We are picky about our homes and have a pretty high standard for cleanliness and comfort. This has both.
The views were specular including the views of the bears!! While there were a few minor hiccups (iron and coffee pot not working) host was kind, gracious and very responsive. The drive to and from kept you alert but if you want views you have to climb to get them.
Very room for a large family, lots of games and activities!!!! If you are looking to see bear you definitely will here. We seen them from morning to evening everyday right off the porch. We had quite a few experiences. Make sure to lock you doors they will open them and pull everything out of your cars. I will say the manager told us in our arrival package so that was totally our fault. Thank heavens nothing was damaged but we will have stories to share for a lifetime with our kids!! GREAT PLACE, we will definitely be back next fall!!!!
Beautiful new home with gorgeous views. Lots of space that accommodated my parents our family and my brothers family. All our kids loved having their own space down below and sleeping on their bunkbeds and playing in the play room. We were surprised with a bear right on our balcony! Great outdoor space. Our host Justin was great and very responsive.
This home met most of our needs quite well. It was well equipped for all ages. It would have been nice to have had an additional 1/2 bath on the main floor but we were able to manage ok. Having 7 vehicles made parking interesting but we managed and had a great time. We would definitely stay again tho. The house was beautiful. Loved having seating for everyone at the dining table, hot tub and game room were a big hit. And mama bear with four cubs strolling through added to the allure.
Lovely home high in the mountains. The views were stunning and the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. The layout was great for our group of 15 and provided lots of options for sleeping arrangements. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable!
We had access to 3 different pools and visited 2 of them. One is walkable from the house and quite nice, with beautiful views. The further one is about a 10 minute drive, which was fine because we discovered a small market and pizza place that delivered.
Itâs about a 15-minute drive down the mountain into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Close enough to all kinds of fun things during the day. However, the narrow, windy roads mostly kept us in at night, cooking dinners together, which was perfect.
Overall, a great experience!
We had a great week stay with some friends and family. Convenient location between PF and Gatlinburg. Even more amenities than what were listed - so many ways to entertain yourself at the house! Amazing view. Clean! They empty, clean and refill the hot tub between guests. Great communication with the host when we found that a bear had broken into the hot tub before our arrival and also when there was an issue with an internet outage. Bring your own hair dryer! Only complaint would be that the water pressure in the upstairs showers was very low. A mama and her two cubs visited almost daily (especially when we were grilling!).
We had a great stay during Thanksgiving week. Any hiccups were promptly addressed by Justin such as trash pickup overflow which was missed because we of the holiday. Beautiful house, only 6 tvs though, not seven or eight as advertised, one bunk room does not have one. Very easy check in and check out process; would stay again:)
The Good: This was our 1st ever Family Vacation and we had a fabulous time! The house is beautiful and huge and has everything you need! A service guy came and fixed the refrigerator the day I contacted them. We were amazed with our visits from the bears, especially the Mama Bear and her 4 Cubs!!!
The Bad: The roads are tricky getting there, drive slow and watch for others. Our driveway was very steep and a problem for some vehicles/drivers. Our TVs didn't all work, so some of the little kids were sad about no cartoons. But, we all survived with no TV, lol.
The Ugly: There was no way a cleaning crew came in and cleaned before we came for our stay. Floors hadn't been swept, there was a yucky thawed out mess in the freezer, probably a dozen or more hair rubberbands on outside deck tables and inside the house windowsills and places. There were some very disgusting and disturbing things we found and seen in a bathroom in the basement and under a bed upstairs. (I'm not going to say what they were). Just confirms no cleaning was done for sure. The manager said he would be changing cleaning companies and he would speak with owner about refunding our cleaning fee we paid, but I have not heard anything back.
The cabin, location and amenities were great. We saw bears in front of the house everyday. Everyone enjoyed it. Host was easy to communicate with and address issues. The only negative was the cleanliness of the cabin. The linens had makeup stains, hair, coffee stains(at least we hope it was). One of the tubs was plugged with hair. It seems that the cleaning motto was out of sight out of mind. Dust bunnies under all beds and couches.
