This was listed as a 3 bedroom, which is what we needed. This is a 2 bedroom with full size beds and a double futon in the dining room area. This caused a few problems but we worked around it. House was very clean a nd nice property, it just needs to be listed for what it is.

Out of town

We stayed a short weekend to hunt and hike. There is hunting near by. Lake Huron is about a half hour away also. The cabin had everything we needed for a short weekend get away.

Beautiful Michigan Cabin

We stayed here for the weekend and went tubing on the AuSable. The cabin was in a perfect location for us. Close to the golf course and Alcona Canoe Rental. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the large front porch watching nature in the Michigan shaped chairs. The cabin is tastefully decorated in rustic Michigan style with all the amenities. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this lovely home.

Very clean for a pet friendly place! We loved our stay! It was perfect for our two families of 3. (13 yr old boys) Great location for riding the trails! Conveniently located close to a grocery store, put putt & ice cream! Host very accommodating and prompt with responses. Love the decor. Fire pit, but didn’t have time to use it. We cooked all meals at Vrbo. Would be nice to see more kitchenware and utensils along with mirrors on both bedrooms. But this is coming from 6 people getting ready to leave at the same time and two moms that go over the top cooking every meal. It was manageable though with what provided. Laundry if needed, bring own detergent. Was nice that paper towel and toilet paper was provided. I don’t recall reading in the description when booking that propane tank needed for grill but if one was there you can use it. There was one for us to use thankfully! Overall, this was a fantastic booking. You will be happy with your stay here! We would book again!

Enjoyed family time, nice house, although it shouldn’t be booked as 3 bedroom
I don’t consider a futon in the livingroom a bedroom. Quiet area, was hoping to see more wildlife than the neighborhood cat! But it was clean and roomy for us and the pooch!

Great for a mostly peaceful getaway, very quiet except for neighbor occasionally working on car outside. Had a pair of owls that hung out with us outside almost every night which was cool. Easy check in besides the mowers showing up right as we were unloading our dogs. The couch seemed a little rough, recliners were difficult and the arm rest areas kept flopping backwards. There was not a vintage stove as listed, just as a heads up, but did not affect trip at all. Amenities are minimal compared to other rentals I’ve stayed at, but that is communicated prior. I feel like with a few more kitchen resources this place would be almost perfect. Master bedroom was very comfortable and peaceful. The house does not have central air and is cooled by one window unit in the living room, which was a surprise but work better than expected. Kitchen faucet handle needs to replaced, not easy to switch between settings, and seems like the bathroom sink regulator is broken as well. Golf course in Glennie is great for a round as well as dining option. Internet was not very fast but we brought our own internet as well, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall great if your looking to get away from people and technology and unplug for a few days.

The lodge was clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the adjustable lighting was pleasant, and the kitchen with all it's accessories was convenient to prepare meals in. It is a great place of peace to escape to from life in the city. Even my dog felt at home the first day there.

Great place for families

Nicely decorated and clean lodge for family gatherings. Large great room with plenty of seating for catching up with the family and friends. 2 Bedrooms sleep 2 each and futon in great room can sleep 2 more. Plenty of attractions nearby to get out and stretch your legs. Major grocery chains are less than an hour away.

Great place!

Went up to ride the trails and send time with family. First time renting in Glennie. Very nice place! Could use some more kitchen essentials but really appreciated Alyshia coming to help with the oven. =} the trails were interesting! And got to be with family!

Excellent!

Our stay was better than expected! There happened to be a booking issue and Alyshia totally saved our weekend. She was able to put us in another one of her VRBO houses and it was just amazing. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
