Bon Aire Apartment is in downtown Mobile on the Mardi Gras Parade Route
Downtown Mobile AL is the place to be during Mardi Gras and all year as the Entertainment District and LoDa continue to grow. Bon Aire Apartment is one block from Callaghans Irish Social Club and part of the Oakleigh Garden District. If you like old architecture and beautiful Oak Trees you will like Oakleigh. You can walk to all the events downtown!!! Most parades pass through the circle at Broad and Canal. It is 5 short blocks to the start of Dauphin Street's LoDa district.
We have plenty of private parking and the Owner is present onsite. This apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a 15 step staircase.
My kids and I stayed here for one night as a side trip after spending time at the beach. It was a cute little apartment with all the necessary amenities. My oldest son said it reminded him of the apartments he stayed at in Europe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, and the instructions were clear. Thank you!
Check in was easy. Location was right downtown, near all of the sites we wanted to see. 8 minutes from the USS Alabama(Our first destination). Area is rich in history and culture. We enjoyed our time in the area and the place was the perfect compliment to that time. Thank you to the hosts
The property reeked of weed when we came in. We contracted the owners and they informed us that the previous renters had disregarded the rules that smoking pot or tobacco was prohibited. It was difficult to get the smell out of the apartment. Other than that it was fine. The bed wasnât that comfortable, but we were only three for one night.
The accommodations, location, and host communications was excellent. Just around the corner from the best burger and beer place in Mobile - Callaghanâs Irish Social Club. Also located close to downtown Mobile.
It was very clean and convenient and had everything that we needed. Master bedroom was extremely comfortable. The only problem I had was that the vent in the master bedroom rattles like crazy, but beyond that it was very good. criticism I have
The property was in a beautiful neighborhood, so much architecture, and the directions to access property was great. Thank you much, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again at some later dateđ!
If youâre looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay that is clean, this place is DEFINITELY for you! The apartment was bigger than Iâd thought it would be. It had absolutely EVERYTHING you needed to cook a full meal. And my favorite part was it had wine glasses! đ
It was just a few minutes from the Battleship Memorial Park which is where we were visiting. Itâs right in the downtown area and there is PLENTY of nightlife close by!
Grocery and convenient stores are close as well. Itâs a very nice and quiet neighborhood for being a downtown location too. The only problem some guests might have is that it is an upstairs unit. So you must carry all your stuff upstairs. There were no elevators to my knowledge. But if youâre fine with that, then this place is amazing!
Owner onsite was friendly and attentive to our needs. Late arrival and departure was not a problem. Property has a nice homey feeling. We enjoyed our stay here and would choose it again.
The extra beds for the kids worked out well. We were driving through on a road trip so can't say much for what's around, but everything worked out well for our stay.
We are from Mobile and love the history and quaintness of this midsize city that has a small town atmosphere. Music, Food, the Beach, Fishing, Golf, Tennis, what do you want to know about Mobile? If we don't know the answer we know who does!
Oakleigh is one of the most beautiful and historical neighborhoods in Mobile. It was a plantation that hosted presidents starting in 1840. Now it is centered directly between downtown Mobile, the port of Mobile, and Brookley Field our new international airport starting in 2024.
This property was developed as one of the first businesses on South Broad Street in the 1930s. It is now one of the few buildings left that is commercial and residential.
