Glad the cabin was great and first time heard of issue by firepit, wish had let me known so could have attended to that while you were there..but thanks for heads up now and glad it was so fun overall for you and yours.

So sorry to read that wasn’t done - we have hired a new cleaner, so hopefully not an issue in the future — wish had known during your stay so could have asked that cleaner to return and complete work

Everything above has been addressed now- wish you would have reached out while staying there — fluorescent light was out over sink area and it was replaced when discovered by cleaners after your stay. Steps and a railing had been broken apparently unbeknownst to owners so that has been replaced with new wood. And believe it or not construction going on in nearby Area and apparently dumping occurring in some driveways in area and that had been a random dump on this property apparently late night before your arrival —now most has been removed and it was leveled down — AND more outside cameras installed for driveway areas and more patrolling in whole area due to random dumping in area— but so sorry you had to experience this and wished had reached out to let us know before review so could have addressed while there.

So sorry to read above as you didn’t report any of this during your stay…however, you did attempt to bring your dog without paying to have a pet there —and we are very sorry how upsetting it was for you to have to pay the pet fee….after paying the fee for your dog—-you never corresponded again with us at all…..that was our only correspondence…..so wish you would have reached back out so all concerns could be addressed….you stayed 5 nights and didn’t report one concern.

Just read this and totally surprised, as didn’t know why you left early as you never said an issue with guys coming up out there or anything except for hot tub not working—and we had someone come the next am, after you reported it evening before and it was fixed and new filter placed ..and you responded you had left when I advised hot tub person coming out….wish you would have reached out and never had any issues with folk out there as in a nice area~but glad to be made aware…

Thank you Cathy for your review…so glad you enjoyed your stay and the beauty of the setting is a huge standout for the entire area for us and all our guests! Yes, we are replacing furnishings! There is now a brand new custom built log bed in the master bedroom and all new bedding for all the beds! We have been looking for the right furnishings for the living room…the recliner couch with drink holders has been a huge hit and super comfy for everyone so just haven’t found the right one yet to replace—but searching for it in the correct size. So sorry about the porch, there had been recent storms in the area and it had blown up lots of debris apparently after Cleaner finished the cabin few days before your arrival on to the porch —-so no one was aware the porch needed debris swept and cleaned off it….being out in the woods when rain and wind—the porches collect it all. Thanks again for your stay and your review…excited for you to come back and stay again in the future.
