Our cozy and perfect cottage is located in a quiet Provincetown neighborhood. It is a Private free-standing cottage for the perfect getaway. You enter through the covered porch to find a charming living room with vaulted ceilings. There is a fully equipped kitchen, you have a choice to shower indoor or outdoor, and the bedroom has a queen size bed. You can dine outside on the new patio, relax on the front porch or head to the private back with a outdoor couch to lay out on. This cottage has parking for one vehicle. You have just a short three minute stroll to all shops and restaurants on Bradford Street and Commercial Street. Herring Cove or Race Point beaches are a short drive away by car or by bike. You can rent bikes from four different bike shops around town. You can also walk to the bay to lay out on the beach or take a boat ride over to the lighthouse. There is so much to do in Provincetown, or you can just relax and dine in at your Private Cottage!
I absolutely loved staying in the cottage. Unfortunately my trip was cut short, but for the short time I did stay I felt comfortable and was able to enjoy some of the things the town had to offer. I hope to return in the future.
We loved every moment of our stay here. Itâs a couple blocks away from all the action but when at the house, it was a quiet escape. Hosts were great and we would definitely stay here next time in Ptown!
We had a great stay from start to finish. Communication with our hosts was always very prompt. The cottage has everything you need and it's very close to commercial street. Would highly recommend.
We loved our stay in this cozy, little cottage. It was well equipped! Details like beach towels & beach chairs were appreciated. Hope to return again. Thank you!
This cottage is absolutely adorable. Everything was perfect and as described in the listing. Also, any questions I did have Jim responded quickly! I would stay in their cottage again without question. Itâs also an easy walk to commercial street making it the perfect location.
Property is as advertised. Very clean and tidy. We enjoyed the privacy of the cottage and yet it was close to town. Quiet in the evening and private deck to enjoy also. Communication with owners was very good.
Great location! shoppingâ foodâ beach everything in walking distance. Had everything we needed from soup to nuts. Cleanâ so cuteâ loved the decorationsâ cozy bedâ bathroom small but shower head was adjustableâ everything was providedâ I will be returningâ great get awayâ closet in bedroom stored all of our thingsâ big bonusâ Peter and Jim responded promptlyâ easy to get inâ backyard showerâ canât wait to stay in the summer! Great place for two. Thanks for the stay
It's a beautiful little cottage and very well appointed.
It was just right. The only glitch was construction across the street when we arrived. But we understand that is happening in area. Maybe a heads up would have been good. But it's a lovely little place. Would love to visit again.
My husband and I loved Jim and Peterâs cottage. It is perfectly decorated and organized to maximize every inch of space inside. The outdoor shower and huge back deck are also excellent perks!! Although the cottage is small, itâs just enough space for a couple which is all we needed. Itâs a short walk into Provincetown (a couple blocks), in a nice quiet neighborhood. This is the perfect place to stay if youâre looking for a getaway thatâs private but close to everything. Jim and Peter were great hosts and were extremely responsible and communicative. Highly highly recommend and are already trying to plan our return!!
This cottage â a former sea shack moved from the shore and rehabbed to the hilt â drips with Cape Cod charm. Itâs an absolutely delightful home base for a solo traveler, a couple, or friends who donât mind sharing a bed. It has everything you need for coffee / breakfasts / pre-drinks / dinners in â including a spacious and gorgeous patio with a couch, loungers, a table ⊠. The bathroom is small, but it hits all the right marks with good water pressure and long-lasting hot water.
The cottage is blocks from the main grocery in town; several bars and restaurants are in strolling distance; and Commercial Street is nearly a straight shot away. Yet itâs quiet, and feels wonderfully tucked away. I definitely see myself returning.
It would be helpful if you checked whether the tv was working properly before occupied.
Also, the small fry pan needs replacing and a keurig machine would be popular.
Directions re: how to turn on the ceiling fan.
Iâd suggest shades on âallâwindows. Women especially need this for safety.
On the whole our stay was wonderful!
Thanks much.
The property is absolutely lovely. The finishing are nice and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, including multiple kitchen towels, cutting boards and a cocktail shaker. They even have Tupperware for packing snacks for the beach.
Air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom were perfect. Note that the ceiling fan in the living room is within arms reach so best not put your hands up if you are on the taller side.
There is a grocery store and bank right near the property along with two bike rentals shops and a nice seafood spot. its also a quick 10 or less minute walk to the main part of town and popular venues.
Our favorite part was the outdoor shower. Lovely, private and spacious, a cherry top of an an already picture perfect package.
I would absolutely return in a heartbeat. Cheers!
Just a perfect little retreat for some solo downtime. Cozy and cute as hell. The table out back is a perfect place to enjoy the morning, or the afternoon after the beach.
But. Sadly, apart from answering a question about laundryâthere isn't any, which is kind of a painâthe agent for the bungalow didn't respond to subsequent communications. Nothing major, mind you. But one ought to at least get "Thanks, no problem" or "No, can't help you" from a communication.
I'd still come back, but I urge the owners to get a new agent.
I've never seen such a small space so wonderfully designed and appointed outside of Japan, where they specialize in exquisitely small but serviceable living spaces. In warmer weather, the cottage doubles (if not triples) in space, with a lovely back deck, which looks prime for yoga, front porch with brightly-painted red chairs, and lovely lawn with a bench, tree, and grass for lolling about. It's a great location---we walked everywhere, and very much enjoyed the cozy comfort of this charming cottage.
I attempted NOT to answer the question above re: communication with property manager since there was none but VRBO's software won't allow me to send this if you don't (annoying VRBO!). Certainly had we needed to check in with someone we could have; two names and numbers were provided on the welcome brochure on top of the refrigerator.
This cottage was perfect for a quiet getaway! Everything was clean and so organized! Appreciated the ease of booking and location; close enough to Commercial St yet quiet and an easy drive to the beaches! Good info provided also which was super helpful!
