Property is located in a stunning rural mountain neighborhood. Please obey speed limits and wave to passersby's. Main road up to the cabin is maintained/plowed after every significant snowfall so you will never be snowed in or out.
You will have the entire home and 35 acres to yourself.
As seen on Fox Business 'American Dream Home: Gone Country' episode titled 'Dreaming of Paradise'.
There is no Uber, Lyft, or bus transportation nearby. We do highly recommend Miller Mountain Transport, a local private transport service for day trips or airport transfers.
Snow Plow: We assume responsibility for plowing our driveway to ensure clear access for you on check-in day. Any other plowing service required during your stay or on your departure is the responsibility of each guest. The HOA will take care of plowing the main roads and surrounding streets. Please plan ahead and schedule any snow plow services you may need during your stay or for your departure. Our recommended plow companies can be found listed on signage inside the house.
4wd vehicles are REQUIRED during winter months and carrying snow chains is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (car rental agencies can usually provide upon request).
Indoor fireplace is electric (not wood burning or propane).
In efforts to prevent the cause of wildfire, we have recently replaced the wood burning fire pit outside with a Big Timber Wood Pellet Stove. Starter pellets are provided and more are sold at the store nearby for approximately $8 per bag.
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Truvi, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Truvi. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
Please purchase travel insurance as refunds are not offered due to weather or illness.
Absolutely breathtaking views! The cabin was clean and comfortable in every way. Beds were amazing. Very much a high end boutique vibe on a mountain. Advice I would give is, make sure you have what you need from town (dinner/breakfast) because once you get there you will want to stay in and take in the beautiful views. Also itâs 40 min to a store.Best place I have ever stayed! It was my husband and I and two kids 18 and 17. We explored Yellowstone and did a whitewater rafting trip.Book it!
First the road...it is NOT bad at all. Drive 15ish MPH and your are fine. PLENTY of room for two vehicles with multiple guard rails. We passed FedEx and UPS trucks as well as a propane gas truck and had ample room. The place is amazing and the views are exactly as pictured. The place was extrememly clean and very neat. Just a cool vibe and very relaxing. Ms. Kameko always responded very quickly. Everything was perfect!
It is a delightful cottage with plenty of room. Whimsical decor. And you are definitely away from everything and at the peak of the mountain. The views are breathtaking. This is a romantic and lovely cottage. A true privilege to experience.
I wish someone had fully prepared me for the trek to the cabin. Itâs at the top of a tall mountain with a winding, steep road made of mud. The road is extremely narrow with no guard rails and takes about 10 mins to get from the main road to the door. If you were to have an accident or need help no would be find you for a while. Thereâs also only one place to get anything decent to eat at Chicoâs resort about 20 mins away. On the other hand the views are very pretty and the house is very cute and clean. The owners are obviously no where close by and answer within about 5 hours or so. I was extremely disappointed because I unfortunately was only able to stay one of my two nights and cut my trip short. Me being a great guest always I inquired about any kind of refund which they ignored and after inquiring again said no. So they made a lot of money off me. Iâd go back to the montana area but wouldnât stay at this cabin again.
Amazing views. Must have 4 wheel drive during winter. The cabin was amazing. All of the wildlife in the area was awesome to see. If you want a quiet peaceful place to vacation you need to give this place a chance.
My wife and I were looking to escape the day to day, and get away somewhere remote with great views. This cabin was just the right medicine. the cabin and views are just as described and the information provided before coming was great! Kameko was very responsive and helpful.
This property was everything we wanted and more! The views are breathtaking and the cabin is fantastic. Everything you coukd ever need in an amazing location. Loved it here
When you come from the hospitality business, finding a stellar accommodation is rare, and this property was certainly that! Great property to celebrate a milestone birthday. Weâll certainly be back.
This property is updated, modern and has the most amazing Montana views. It was hard leaving the front yard with such picturesque rolling hills. It takes about 15min of sriving off the maon road, but a drive well worth it!
The drive to the property is about 15 minutes off of what I would consider a main road. At first I was taken back by this but after I saw the property, it was well worth the drive! The property was spotless. There was plenty of entertainment and it was well supplied with paper towels, cleaning supplies, cooking appliances, etc. The owners of the property we easy to communicate with and kindly answered all questions. We considered it one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Definitely a 10/10.
This place is amazing! What you see is what you get, and so much more. Not only is the house comfortable and charming, but the lounging outside area was perfect in every way. Everything from the amazing mountain views, the pellet fire pit, the hammock, the lounge chairs, the outdoors table and seating, the BBQ grill (we did not use), the hot tub, the corn-hole game and the night sky and stars.... PERFECTION!! The location of the house and the views are fantastic, not too far from town, but be aware that the drive up to the house from the main road does require four wheel drive, even in warm months due to the loose gravel as it is an unpaved road and at some points has sharp turns and blind spots, so go SLOW. But the view is extremely worth it and you get used to the road after the first drive up and down. Also, Bear Spray, always a good idea to have bear spray with you. Although we did not encounter any at the house while staying there, it is important and wise to have it handy. Overall, the stay was a very comfortable one, even the shower had nice hot water with good water pressure.
Kameko was easy to get in touch with if I had any questions, and very pleasant. If you are looking for a small piece of heaven, this is it!
Great house, great view, great location, fully stocked with everything you would need and there is a hot tub! Really, they have thought of everything! Highly recommend and would stay again!!! Did I mention the view? A++++++
My now husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in September. We cannot put into words how amazing our stay was! Kameko and Ryan were so communicative going into the stay, during the stay, and after the stay - we never felt like we were unaware of anything. We had plenty to do in the towns around the cabin, including horseback riding at Bear Paw Outfitters, a couples massage at Sage Lodge and then a lunch at their restaurant mountainside, we took advantage of the amazing food joints (Outpost, Old Saloon, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and Chico Restaurant), and we went to Livingston and Bozeman a few days that it rained because it was so close to the cabin! Honestly we just wanted to spend all of our time enjoying the cabin because of how amazing the property and views were. We spent each morning and night soaking in the hot tub. We could not get enough of the views that the cabin had to offer. We also took advantage of their grill and record player every night. The last day we were there it rained but we were so happy to just enjoy the amenities inside the cabin! We loved the amount of effort Kameko and Ryan have put in to make this place "homey" yet soooo modern. We were so in awe of how nice the decorations were. The bed was SUPER comfy! Overall, we would recommend staying at this place for anyone. We will for sure be back! Thank you Kameko and Ryan!
We had a wonderful stay in the midst of a crisis for the area. We were there during the flood and the owner assisted us in a way to get back to the residence that is in a very remote area. Beautiful home, beautiful area. Would recommend to anyone and would come back. Thank you!
Throughout the process of making the reservation and looking for a place to stay, this was our highlight based on pictures. Once we arrived it more than lived up to those expectations. The owners didn't hesitate to answer any questions and were very flexible and understanding with both the check in and check out process. The property was stunning, very clean, and exactly what we wanted in our Montana getaway!
