INDOOR GATHERING SPACES
Ground level entrance, main level includes the beautifully appointed kitchen, open living room with flat screen TV, fireplace, newly furnished laundry room, and ½ bath. In addition, you will find an office with workspace, close the pocket doors for privacy should any of your guests need to take business calls or tend to work while away. The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached newly remodeled 3/4 bath and access to enclosed porch. The three seasons room features a beautiful glass wrap around with a breathtaking overview of the Beachwalk Resort and a picturesque view of Lake Michigan.

OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACES
Enjoy a massive two story covered porch and deck with a view, gas grill and large picnic table, firepit table and porch swing, offers plenty of room for all guests to relax comfortably.

Great Family Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience at Prospect Heights. It was very clean and we all had plenty of room for adults and little ones. The walk to the beach at Lake Michigan was about 5 minutes. The board walk made it easy for hauling our things and pushing strollers. We had so much fun and would stay at Prospect Heights again.

Spacious and Walkable to the beach and Amenities

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great family getaway in Michigan City! The home was spacious and worked well for our group—my family, my sister’s family, and our mom. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the layout gave us space to enjoy time together while also having room to spread out.The location was decent with a short walking distance to the beach and down to the beachwalk resort and its amenities.We did run into a few minor issues during our stay. The front door lock was unreliable, and a couple of times we had to walk around the block and 4 flights of steps to get in through the back door because the front door would not work. The TV was tricky to operate, requiring a call to the office for help. The outside could use a little TLC—there were overgrown weeds—and some areas inside felt a bit dusty. The basement bunk room had a large sticky sheet acting as a window blind, but it kept falling off. Installing proper blinds or a curtain would be a much better long-term solution.Overall, we had a great time and made some lasting memories. With a few simple improvements, this home could be an even better rental for families.

Right at Home

The property was “literally” adjacent to our family summer home that I grew up in. As a young child, my siblings and I used to sled down the hill for fun. Good memories were in abundance and it was like re-living my childhood. Highly recommend this property. The house was impeccable and was fully equipped to serve meals for our fairly large family and guests . Everything we needed was at our fingertips.

Best House Rental in 8 Years!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve been renting through Beachwalk for the past 8 years and this house was by far the best house we’ve rented. Everything was perfect! The porch room was a HUGE plus! I couldn’t believe that there was so much room on the porch. Very close to the beach! The kitchen and living room was huge with a ton of room for our entire group. The next time we come to Beachwalk, this will be the first house I rent!

Perfect House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Prospect Heights was the perfect house for our week in Michigan City. It was private,quiet,and most importantly we were allowed to bring our dogs. The walk to the beach was short and the boardwalk made it much easier to bring down all of our stuff. The house was beautiful. It has everything you need and more. We loved watching the sunset from the crows nest. The sunroom was a favorite spot for reading. Having multiple seating areas outside on every level was so great. Our favorite outdoor seating area was around the firepit. The only issue we had was the master shower was not draining. We called maintenance and they came right away and fixed the drain. We have zero complaints and would definitely rent this house again.

The house was beautiful and more than accommodating. So large with big rooms and amazing views. Everything we needed, bedroom wise and kitchen wise was all there. We will definitely be back. Family Tradition - Thanksgiving at Beachwalk

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying at Beachwalk during Thanksgiving for a number of years. We needed to change houses as Pretty in Pink had new owners and did not allow family pets. Prospect Heights was very nice. The Master bedroom was very cold. There was definitely a lack of heat. We let the office know but they could not help us. The dishwasher was not working on the first night we arrived. Someone came out on Thanksgiving to look at it and then the repairman came the next day. The Bathroom lights in the basement were not working which made it difficult to use once evening came. There were not enough dinner plates for us to use for our Thanksgiving dinner. We borrowed some plates from another rental. We did find some bugs in the corner of the master bedroom. I did let the Office know about all these things. It did not ruin our time here, but I expected more from Beachwalk. We are good customers and like I said, we've been coming here for 10 years.

Overall satisfied but a few concerns

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size of the house was perfect for our group. The decor was nice. However, there was a huge stain in the carpet and another huge rip in the master bedroom carpet. The front of the house was covered in weeds and there were 3 hanging baskets that were completely dead and dried up. One day during the day we heard a knock and a gentleman from Beachwalk maintenance was standing in the kitchen. He came to fix the stove from an old work order ? You can understand our concern since we had been there 3 days, never submitted a work order and walk into a stranger standing in the kitchen?
