Great Spot to Chill Out

Really enjoyed staying in this mid century modern home with a true Palm Springs architectural pedigree. House was clean, garden beautifully maintained, and well represented in the listing. Host was extremely helpful and communicative.

Wonderful getaway in Palm Springs!

We loved our stay in this 3 bed, 2 bath gem! The location was perfect. The house is near the end of a culdesac so it's nice and quiet. You don't hear any of the street noise from Gene Autrey and Vista Chino once you're on the property. The neighborhood is historic! It's Wexler and Harrison's (architects) first architectural development in Palm Springs. We ran into a neighbor while walking our dog and she was happy to tell us all about it! We enjoyed walking our little dog around the neighborhood while checking out all the wonderful homes that have been restored. We appreciated the concrete floors and all the amenities the property had especially the jacuzzi, firepit, and chiminea. It was a little chilly for the pool. The rooms have a lot of color. And along with a few choice pieces of furniture, you definitely feel like you're going back in time ;) We especially liked how well the kitchen was stocked! We only used the master bedroom. But we found the bed was super comfy and closet space was more than ample. The master bathroom has a separate door leading out to the jacuzzi and pool area which makes it very convenient when you want to take a quick shower afterward. We especially liked the firepit and chiminea during our stay! The backyard area was perfect for that morning puppy break, too. If you're looking for ambiance with some mid-century flare, this is a great retreat in the desert. We look forward to staying there again!

Absolutely Exquisite Mid Century Modern Experience!

The house is so carefully appointed and decorated it's truly like taking a step back in time. The furnishings and decor are period-perfect without being precious or sacrificing modern conveniences. (Check out the vintage barware and swizzle sticks!) The backyard is the perfect playground and I believe the pool is original (hence the hot tub is not built-in) and an absolute delight. We enjoyed walking around the spectacular neighborhood filled with Wexler-designed homes as well. The host is a gem to work with and was extremely gracious and accommodating to our needs. Both check in and check out were easy breezy and the entire stay was a delight. Highly recommend, and hope to return soon!
