Thank you for acknowledging that I was responsive, kind, and that the home itself was clean, well-equipped, and accurately advertised. I am sorry the neighborhood did not meet your comfort level. However, a review of the exterior camera footage, it does not support the level of activity described in this review or the claim that the on street activity continued in the way stated. The footage showed some people gathered earlier in the evening, but by 8pm, the street in front of the home appeared clear, and any conversations heard were consistent with a family enjoying the evening. Our listing does describe the area as a neighborhood in redevelopment. We cannot control the timing of when surrounding privately owned properties are repaired/rehabbed, but we do make a good-faith effort to accurately represent that there are visible changes and ongoing redevelopment happening throughout the community. We live nearby, spend time at this property ourselves with our & have hosted many guests across multiple platforms without this same concern. We regret that you chose to leave early, but we respectfully disagree that the listing was misrepresented. Our older veteran neighbor has younger relatives visit with him. They are polite and friendly. If they were too lively, I would have called to checked in. His nephews are some of the sweetest young men and even help take our trash cans in. We have spoken with them and they hate you felt uncertain but would have welcome a chat.

I'm glad our home was able to accommodate your stay. We try our best to describe our neighborhood and the details of the redevelopment that is occurring. Many of the 100 year old properties are being renovated along with a former prominent hospital. I hope you come check us out again once all the changes are complete.

I'm sorry you stay was less than stellar. We pride ourself on providing a clean home for our guest. I would have gladly sent the cleaner back or even came by myself had I know of your concerns. The towels were freshly laundered as they were pulled from the laundry and brought straight to the home just before your check in time. It may have been that hair was intertwined in the fabric for which I truly apologize for.
