The Highlights

Where to begin?! This adorable Morgantown cottage provides an ideal beach vacation destination. It's modern, beautifully decorated and provides tons of outdoor decking. It's conveniently located and is a short walk to both pools and several beach access boardwalks. Families and guests of all ages appreciate the one-story floor plan, the generous room sizes and the three full baths. Don't get us wrong, the inside of the home is gorgeous, but we can't get past the oversized decking and comfortable and durable polywood furniture. Guests will enjoy coffee, cocktails and everything in between on these fabulous decks. When you're at the beach, you want to be outside, and this home makes it both possible as well as very enjoyable!

The Space

Step inside and you'll fall in low with the tranquil color palette and the comfortable furnishings. Loads of seating in the living room allow the entire group to gather for a night of TV watching, game playing or just hanging out to discuss the adventures of the day.

The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite countertops and plenty of counter seating.

The bedrooms are crisp and clean and both King rooms have private baths. The other two rooms, one a Queen and the other two Twin/Twin bunks share a hall bath. This floor plan is great for providing both space and privacy.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
