Our 5 bedroom, 3 and a half bath home is the perfect oasis for your NOLA getaway! The house is also near historic St Charles avenue where the street car can take you Downtown or to the heart of the French Quarter.

the location was ideal for our needs. This was one of the nicest VRBO's I have ever stayed at in NOLA. The owner was friendly as responded to questions very quickly. We will definitely. plan to stay here on our next trip to New Orleans.

We had a great stay at the Tchop House. Exceptionally clean, and even bigger than the photos indicate. Great living/dining space for everyone to congregate for cocktails and catching up.

The Tchop house was perfect for our group of 8. The house was super clean and very spacious, and was a good location.

Beautiful Home & Great Location

This home is beautiful, spacious and easy access to all things New Orleans. We had a group of 7 adults and we were all very comfortable. We loved the layout, spacious living area and kitchen, bedrooms are a nice bigger size, plenty of bathrooms. The back patio was great for gathering outside at night. Parking on street was easy and always had a space available. We definitely would stay here again if we ever go back. Communications with the management team was great!

This property was as described! Spacious, clean, and welcoming in a great location… the host was very accommodating as we had to extend our stay unexpectedly! The house is on a busy street but it wasn’t a problem at all!

Plenty of room for all 10 of us! Very clean, great communication with host and an easy walk to a coffe shop. It is worth noting that the bedroom with the pull-out bed is only accessable to the rest of the house through another bedroom. Thanks for having us!

Tchop House

We absolutely LOVED the Tchop house. The home is gorgeous and well laid out for a large group. The decor is upscale and every part of the home was as advertised. The primary suite’s bath is fit for Cleopatra! Truly! The location was convenient to so many parts of NOLA. Parking was a breeze and we frequented a few neighborhood restaurants and bars, within walking distance. We will be back - this is a true gem at a great price point!

40th Birthday NOLA style

We celebrated a friends 40th birthday while in New Orleans. This house was perfect for us. The space was great and the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Magazine street and tons of great shops and restaurants. Close enough to everything and still far enough from anything too loud and crazy. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of other household basics. The management was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a great time!

Nice place

The house was across the street from commercial/industrial, but it wasn’t bothersome. The interior looked new and clean. The house appears to be a converted double shotgun, which makes it feel quite spacious, especially the upstairs master suite, which also has a spacious and luxurious bathroom. There is adequate parking on the street. We chose to drive to the nearest stop on the historic St. Charles streetcar line (also adequate street parking) and take the streetcar to the French Quarter, which worked well for us.

Rochelle was great to work with - professional, kind, prompt. The size of the house was great for our group of six. The house overall was disappointing for the nearly 3800 we paid for our three night stay. Was it higher than it's currently listed for because it was Halloween weekend?The front door did not seem secure. The deadbolt did not seem to be tight. There was a large gap at the bottom. We placed a towel in the opening to prevent critters from getting in. The weather stripping on the door frame was missing.One of the upstairs toilets leaked. The exhaust fan in one of the downstairs bathrooms didn't work. There were missing and burned out light bulbs. The kitchen lacked some basics - towels, frying pan, spoons, measuring cups. There were only a few washcloths in the entire house. The smoke detector in the downstairs hallway was chirping. The back deck was not as pictured in the listing. I realize it's outside and won't be perfect, but it could've been cleaned up without too much effort. The rugs and living room chair looked dirty/dingy. I'm not confident that the bedspread in the master bedroom was washed because there were a couple of wet spots when we arrived that made it seem as though it may have been spot cleaned. There were many loose tiles on the master bathroom floor.Had we paid less, I would've been able to better overlook some of these many details that weren't quite right. For the price we did pay, I anticipated more attention to these detail.

Oh no I'm sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately we don't know things sometimes unless amazing guest like yourself tell us. The stay amount we received was 2200 the rest were taxes, damage insurance and Vrbo fees nothing to do with host (I wish guest were more aware of this) You only reached out once to say 1 of the 2 toilets upstairs was leaking. MY RESPONSE okay I can get the plumber out immediately. YOUR RESPONSE no need it's not bad just take care of it at checkout just wanted to make you aware! Other than that nothing about door or weather stripping or kitchen supplies as this is the first I have heard on this but will be there personally tomorrow to do inventory and have maintenance to install new weather stripping. Plumber went today and said neither upstairs toilets were leaking so will also check that out personally. Next vacation stay reach out to your host we are here for any concerns. I personally live in Nola and could have brought supplies or had anything remedy within 1-2 hours sad that you did not give us that chance.

Perfect space & location

This property was just what we needed for our stay for my sister’s wedding. It was within walking distance to many things including our event venue Rosy’s Jazz Hall. The space was immaculately clean when we arrived & we enjoyed the large dining area & living area to hang out together. We used the large Master bedroom to have our makeup & hair done & it was perfect as well. The kitchen was beautiful but a little lacking when it came to pans, etc & had no kitchen towels or hot pads. There were only enough bath towels for us each to have one which was a bit of a challenge, especially since we couldn’t get the washing machine to work. Luckily we were able to dry them in the dryer. With the house filled to its capacity we also ran out of hot water during the day. During our stay we also experienced heavy rain & some water came in from the back patio doors as well as some water on the upper floor but management did respond to our messages promptly. Overall the property was what we needed minus a few inconveniences. Luckily because we are locals we were able to work around a few of those things.

Thank you so much for renting our home for your wedding house. Yes soon as you told me about washer when you checked out I called for service and that is fixed also ordered 24 pot holders and kitchen towels. The contractor came in to fix the leak by the doors that were allowing water in as it’s a new purchase house for us and did not know the owners did not have the doors flashed. Thanks again for making us aware and we have addressed all issues. Thanks again

Wonderful stay

This house was absolutely perfect! Rochelle was very accommodating and replied to any questions I had immediately. I loved the decor of the home, and it was very spacious. There was plenty of room for our group of 12. The location is also perfect. We were able to easily grab the trolley into town and the surrounding area was also very convenient. Thanks for everything! We had an excellent time!
