Panoramic beach views steal the show at this large ground-floor 2BR/2BA condo, located at Suntide II Condominiums on South Padre Island. A bonus sleeping nook offers additional sleeping space.

Chic dark wood furnishings and earthy tones bring a stylish, welcoming vibe throughout. A spacious kitchen is great for entertaining, while upgraded bathrooms feature granite counters and beautifully tiled showers.

Local shops and eateries are a short walk from home. Stroll a few blocks to Blackbeard’s for awesome seafood, steaks and sandwiches. Or head four blocks to WannaWanna and enjoy pub fare and frozen cocktails on their beachfront deck.

ABOUT THE CONDO

Curl up for the evening on a leather sectional sofa in the living area, then pick out a movie on the 40” flat screen TV.

Gaze across rolling waves and golden sand from your private patio, with seating for three and views directly overlooking the beach. From here, you’re just steps away from the community pool area, hot tub, and fire pit.

Whip up beach snacks and hearty evening meals in a full kitchen with granite countertops and a bar area seating four. Opposite, there’s seating for six to share sit-down meals around a wooden dining table.

The condo offers sleeping for up to five guests.

Wake each morning to the sight of the Gulf from the inviting master bedroom, featuring a king bed, 37” flat screen TV, and ample storage space. An en-suite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower.

Crisp white linens adorn a king bed in the second bedroom. This room also has a storage closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

A bonus sleeping nook (an additional bedroom with no door) comes with a twin-size bed and white wooden dresser.

Guest amenities include cable TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to a shared coin-operated laundry room. Designated parking for one vehicle is provided, with additional first-come street parking.

As a guest at Suntide II Condominiums, you’ll be treated to private beach access, with the shore just steps away. Forgot your beach towel or need a nap? No problem—your condo’s proximity to the beach makes it a breeze to go back and forth.

You’ll also enjoy Suntide II amenities like a heated beachside pool, a hot tub, a sun deck with palapas, a tennis court, beach volleyball, and a truly Texas-sized BBQ area.

For seafood and happy hour specials just down the street, swing by Blackbeard’s, a neighborhood mainstay since 1978. After dinner, head across the street to pick up an ice cream at Dolce Roma. Or stop by WannaWanna (10-minute walk) for pub fare, live music and frozen cocktails on a beachfront deck.

Adventurers can check out South Padre Island Watersports (5-minute drive), where you can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and more. And Schlitterbahn Waterpark is just a 10-minute drive away.

For quick grocery pick up, you’re just a mile from Blue Marlin Supermarket.

Great condo

Large, open space condo with great beach access and location to restaurants. Uber for those who don’t like to walk and walking lanes for those that do.

Best stay we ever had!

We loved our stay from the beginning to the end. With 3 kids, having the condo steps away from the beach access and pool was such a plus for us. As parents we weren't stressed or tired having to haul everything to and from condo. We would definitely stay here again!!! Already looking for dates for our next stay!

Good location, made some good improvements

We have been staying at Suntide II for over 15 years. This year they made some improvements in the bathrroom, livingroom, dinning room and outside furniture. Love the location. Just wish they would consider adding a second vehicle pass.

Great find on S. Padre Island

The location is perfect, steps from the beach, pool, hot tub and walking distance from a number of restaurants. The building was quiet but permanent and vacationing residents were lively. Close to the birding center and turtle center. Overall, a great find at a very reasonable price.

Room 106 at suntide was overall very comfortable. The interior was well upkept , with nice beds and very nice bathrooms. The kitchen had the essentials , pots and pans. It was nice to have easy access to the pool/walkway to the beach . The only negative thing I can say is there was no towel service , so we had to reuse the towels the whole week . The blankets/cover on the beds were too thin for our liking . We like to keep the room kinda cold at night but we were shivering because the cover was very thin. We even went out to try to buy a heavier blanket on the island .

Was a nice condo on the beach. Worked well for us. Could use new pans and coffee filters would be nice. Things were just a little warn making it a 4 star rather than a 5. A few standard seasoning would be nice like salt and pepper and garlic salt too. Overall a great stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again.

Great condo

Perfect location! Steps from the beach and the pool. It was not noisy inside at all. Very clean! Had one issue with dishwasher and maintenance were on it right away and very polite. Just like our own house, problems can occur at any time so we appreciate their politeness and speediness in getting it fixed! No complaints at all and would definitely stay there again!

Truly Beachfront!

Can't beat the location of this truly beachfront condo! Walk right off your patio onto the sand. The condo was nice and the extra 'bedroom' was a big bonus. Lots of room in the kitchen, tons of storage and counter space (helpful with little kids and all their snacks). The only thing missing was any sort of pool/beach towels. Other rentals I've stayed at have provided specific towels for outdoors. Would also have liked a table outside for meals. But overall, this place was fantastic.

We stayed with friends at this property. You need to know, there is absolutely nothing in the condo like seasonings, books, games, or beach towels. The company sent an email indicating there was to be construction in March, no indication in email our condo would be affected, but Monday they started and it was noisy, and we were unable to use our porch facing the beach for the entire week. I called and was told we were notified via email, there was nothing they could do, however the email never specified our unit would be affected. I would’ve thought we should have been contacted via phone to see if we wanted to switch units before we checked in. No such luck. They need to have clearer communication! Positive note-the weather was fantastic, everything worked and we were able to see the eclipse!

Great house but Turn Key didn't do their part

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was awesome, super clean and right on the beach. My problem was with turnkey the host. WE had a bad rain storm hit and the front bedroom and main entrance flooded with water and we had to use all the towels so it would come not into the kitchen. I got on the phone with somebody and they said someone was going to call me to handle up. Took them several hours to call me back and basically said i had to deal with the water issue. Then i asked for new towels so we can shower since i used the all the others to block the water and it took then a whole day and me having to call and text over and over to get new towels just to shower. So we were short one bedroom for 3 nights. That was my kids room and having my youngest son sleep in our room wasn't the best for vacation. We paid for a 3 bedroom but only got to use it from half the trip. So like I said great house but Turn Key didn't do their part.

Needed small vacay gone bad

Room is very nice, however dish washer was flooded with water caused it to come out all over the kitchen floor, took us a while to clean up. Killed a huge cockroach in the kitchen area, please speak to your fumigation team. Maintenance went into the condo I guess to fix the dishwasher problem without my consent? Before a discount was offered this time around nothing? Other than that it was good.

Great location

We have stayed at Suntide II for several years. Love the location and easy method of booking the condo. This year we stayed in rom 106. We have stayed in 106in the past. 106 needs attention to dishwasher, master bathroom vent, replace master bathroom rug (it stinks), and replace light bulb in the back patio. The light flickered when turned on. We had no light during our stay. My family enjoyed the stay.

Nice Stay

It would’ve been excellent if there was on site monitoring of property. The suite was nice, one bed was awful (you could feel the springs in the mattress) my kids ended up in the same bed. The neighbors upstairs partied from 2:30-4:30 in the morning two nights in a row. The neighbors beside us seemed to have at least 10 people in their suite and partied on the patio beside us and in front of us until at least 2am on their last night. They had a barbecue they brought and nearly smoked us off our patio (they were kind enough to move). For a condo that says that quiet times are enforced, I did not see or hear of any such enforcement. The rental company was polite and somewhat helpful but, basically said if there’s a problem call the security number.
