Private deck in the back and a fenced in front deck. Perfect for a couple and their dog. The wooden bar is one of the most unique things about this guest house. It Is made with oak wood and is one of a kind. Comes with two stools for sitting so you can enjoy your meals.
Stayed here with my dog while I was in town for work. It was a great location, just a few minutes outside of town so was nice and quiet with beautiful views! Amy was quick to respond and I hope to stay here again next time Iâm in town. Thanks again!
The internal property was nice( a little outdated), could have more necessities(salt pepper, measuring utensils, bowls to prepare a meal. The exterior was very disappointing, neighbor next door had a messy area with various "stuff" all over the place. We were up against a little ridge so thought I had space to walk the dog, but none.
This cabin worked fine for us for a couple of nights in Durango. We needed someplace where we could stay with our dogs and leave them crated while we attended some events. The inside of the cabin was clean and comfortable and had most everything we needed. No stove and just a toaster oven though. The photos well represent the inside. The location and ambiance outside left a little to be desired. Some road noise from the busy road down the hill and an odd, steep entrance through a business and a nearby property. All that said, I did not expect the Tajma Hal as the cost of our stay was much less than other Durango properties. As I said, it was fine for our purposes and good value for waht we paid.
This was our anniversary trip, staying 4 nights. Bed is very comfortable. Furnishings are mostly adequate, though we would have preferred at least a hot plate in the kitchen. Our host Greg was very responsive, a couple times having to get the internet up and running, and quickly providing kitchen towels, and bathroom hand towels and washcloths, which were not there. Cleanliness was fair, with dust and dirt underneath and behind furnishings. Some of the interior needs attention re repair and paint, but we were most disappointed with the surroundings. The location is much less rustic than weâd hoped (more industrial with Highway noise)âŠand very little attention to landscaping. For the price, we would, in retrospect, have stayed elsewhere.
I needed a place to stay while my floors were being redone. The cabin was perfect for my needs. The hosts were very responsive with my questions and even offered to bring me pie on Thanksgiving! The place is located near 160, and is easy and convenient access to Durango and points north and Bayfield and points east. If you need stay near Mercy this would be very convenient. There is some noise from the traffic but it never prevented me from falling asleep or woke me up.
