Family Wedding

We had a great stay for a family wedding. The rooms are larger than we expected based on pictures in the listing and very comfortable for everyone. Beach access is very close and the beach chairs and wagon were very handy! We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a lovely stay at a beautiful house. We had 6 adults and 3 teenagers, and never felt cramped even for meals together. The house is well supplied and in a lovely location a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Randy was a great host and communicator. Thanks!

This was a beautiful house with lots of space for our sons and families. There was space for everyone to stretch out and relax, either in the bedrooms, the many porches, and the great room area. All the appliances worked and it was a plus to have two laundry rooms. The en-suite bathrooms were spacious and each bedroom had its own. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay at this property again. Kudos to the owner for responding, almost immediately, to our inquiries.

Great location and wonderful house!

The house is lovely top to bottom. We found it extremely clean and well stocked. Plenty of room for children and adults, and having so many bathrooms available was a real plus. Walkable to the beach, downtown Lewes and the Dairy Queen, which we took advantage of often! Randy is an excellent host, very attentive to questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Lewes Beach House

Well appointed and well located 3 story beach house in Lewes. Short walk to the beach and easy walk to town. Rooms were spacious, AC worked well and stuff for all activities — beach or bike — included. Elevator to move luggage and senior citizens was much appreciated. I would rent it again.

Perfect House

My siblings and I stayed at this well appointed property for 4 nights. We all agreed it is one of the nicest homes we have ever rented! It is in an excellent location, steps from the beach and a short walk into town for shopping and restaurants. We used the bikes and beach equipment which is all in excellent condition. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the bathrooms are first class!Randy was excellent in communicating with us before and during our visit, and extended a late check out. I highly recommend this property for your Lewes visit!

Outstanding location and wonderful amenities

Great proximity to Savannah beach. The host, Randy, is very helpful and responsive. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and deck. The outdoor seating areas are outstanding. Great provision of beach items- chairs, umbrellas, toys, wagon. Washer and dryer on ground floor and third floor very helpful.

Outstanding Property

We’ve rented for many years in Bethany. This was our first rental in Lewes. Randy’s place was amazing and perfect for our 3 families! The en-suite bathrooms and patio/porch access was great to have and the distance to the beach just perfect! We will be back!

Perfect Lewes Vacay

Our 3-generation family had a wonderful stay in Lewes and Randy's place was a big part of what made it so special. You couldn't ask for a better location in Lewes that is close to the beach and to town. Randy was very responsive and kind in all of his communication. The screened-in porch off the kitchen was fantastic and made meals at the house quite enjoyable (without the bugs). Would highly recommend this property and Randy / Eileen as hosts!

Beautiful beach house

We really enjoyed our week in Lewes at this beautiful property. Close to the beach and a great location for walking. Each bedroom having it’s own bathroom, patio/deck, and large closet worked well for our extended family. The fenced backyard was a plus for our littlest one. We appreciated the easy communication with Randy and all the extras that were provided, including beach accessories and lots of toys and activities for the kids!

Family Beach Trip

Great house and location. Less than 2 blocks to beach. 10 min walk to downtown. Elevator was key for 81yo. Home was clean, well stocked and as described. Teens enjoyed the ping pong and bikes. Owner was quick to respond to all of our questions! Would stay here again.

40th anniversary celebration and Easter weekend

We have been coming to Lewes for years and have stayed at many different houses, hotels and inns. I can say without hesitation this was the best of all. This is a gorgeous home, is impeccably designed and furnished, and in the the best inside the canal neighborhood. Randy is a gracious and attentive host. Everyone from we grandparents to our youngest grandchild loved spending our special time together in this special home. We hope to have many return visits.

Another Great Christmas in Lewes!

Our extended family spent Christmas 2022 in this house and chose unanimously to stay there again for Christmas 2023. We originally chose it for the elevator, a necessity for the 90-somethings in our party, and have come to enjoy it for so much more. The layout allows all 10 of us plenty of space for our meals, movie-watching, and game-playing. We walk into town for the charming shopping and great restaurants. And we hike in Cape Henlopen State Park and on the beach. The house is so clean, and the hosts respond immediately to our questions. Thank you for another great stay!

Perfect house near beach and town

Our extended family group of 10 enjoyed a wonderful cozy Christmas weekend here. The huge living/dining/kitchen space allowed all of us to be together while watching movies, playing board games, and eating meals. Each bedroom had its own full bathroom, and all the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect: two blocks from the beach and a two-minute drive (15-minute walk) into Lewes's charming downtown full of restaurants and shops. The house's elevator was a huge plus, allowing the 90-year-olds in our group easy access to all floors and making quick work of bringing everyone's luggage up and down. Randy responded quickly to all of my questions and provided clear instructions about the check-in procedure, wi-fi, etc. Recommended highly!

Great family vacation. Fantastic location. Just what we were looking for!

The accommodations were wonderful. The screened and covered sunroom was a favorite gathering spot throughout the day. The balcony off the bedrooms were great for quiet time away in the mornings with a cup of coffee (provided by Randy) and a book. We had an easy walk to the beach. We took advantage of the 5 bikes for a short ride along the beach road. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for a large party. Loved the options of ping pong and board games. There are pickleball courts that are walking distance with some paddles provided by owner. We've never been to the Delaware beaches and weren't aware of the option of linens and towels provided for a small fee; just inquire if you are interested. We would definitely come back another time with our family or a group of friends.

Wonderful Family Week!

It was a wonderful week, being together with our two kids, their spouses and three adorable granddaughters! Little did we dream, when we first booked your lovely home, would I end up in the hospital, with a very rare and almost deadly combo of Lyme and a Babesia tick borne parasite! Thankfully, due to the very quick diagnosis and lengthy treatment, I was able to actually be with our family for the week! By the end of the week, I am pleased to say that I'm almost back to normal, except for fatigue. Your place was perfect for all of us to spread out, our son to take Zoom calls and everyone to be very comfortable. What a great location for the beach and walks into town! You certainly have all the comforts, including many incidentals, too numerous to mention. Our thanks for a most terrific week!
