This beautiful three level townhouse sits in historic Shipoke, a cute little corner of Harrisburg where old town charm is evident and the scenery is pretty. It is two blocks from the riverfront, where you will find a perfect place for walking, running, or watching sunsets. This home features a private courtyard with a shade tree and fire pit, great place to relax outdoors. Within walking distance are many city attractions and great restaurants. This place is perfect for lengthy stays!
Enjoyed the Vrbo. Had a sailboat which made parking difficult. Was able to rent parking from the hotel down the block for &10. Cuban Restaurant down one block was amazing!
The place was spotless, loved the backyard, wonderful host and the Cuban restaurant 3 doors down was fabulous! Don was a great bartender and food was delicious. Highly recommend this property! Thank you Enda !!!
Spent 3 nights at Ednaâs with my family and itâs such a wonderful place. I took my 90y/o grandmother back to her home town for some site-seeing. The place is in a quaint little historic neighborhood and parking was never an issue for me, had a spot right in front of the address nearly every time. Loved staying in an old historic house with all the quirks that come with it, wouldnât hesitate to stay again. Edna is very accommodating and quick to respond; sheâs the ideal Airbnb host. Wish we would have had an opportunity to eat at the Cuban restaurant a few doors down.
The house was beautiful and bigger than the pictures make it seem. It was very spacious and easy for us all to be together or to spread out and do our own thing. My 11 year old neice loved the upstairs sitting/lounge room. It was hwr
The townhouse was clean and ready at promised time. Enjoyed the keyless entry fir convenience. Parking was tight on this one way restricted parking street. We ended up leaving 2 nd vehicle with family first night but found 2 spots 2nd night Reminder to guests to bring their own bar soaps and shampoos. All else spotless and pleasant
Good visit. If you have a car, you cannot park from 9-10 am and 4-5 pm during the week. (No restrictions on weekends) Owner will pay if you get any tickets.
We visited Hershey Park and stayed here. Honestly, we enjoyed Harrisburg more than we enjoyed Hershey Park. This was a perfect location, close to so many amazing restaraunts. Parking was never a problem at the VRBO and there was so much space. Very clean and we would recommend staying here to anybody. Thank you!
Nice place to stay for our family. Convenient access to I-83. We enjoyed the Cuban restaurant nearby. Good kitchen facility. Good area to walk our dog. Parking sometimes challenging, especially during the busy Shipoke flea market.
My friends and I stayed here while attending a concert at the Hershey Stadium (about 20 away). We loved this house! Very roomy and clean. Also, so thankful we were able to check in a little earlier.
This house was a comfortable and clean landing space for a two-day capitol visit with kids. Shipoke is a sweet little neighborhood next to the Susquehanna, with a lovely river walk just a block away. In the evening parents enjoyed the back garden, which was nicely sheltered from the rain, while the kids were cozy in the living room. We will definitely book again next time we're in Harrisburg.
This is a superb place to stay in Harrisburg. Especially if you need 3 queen size beds for 3 couples. We had an absolutely delightful time. Our only challenge was that there is only one shower and there is no bathroom on the top floor where 2 of the bedrooms are located. Be sure to walk down the river front and take in a minor league baseball game or miniature golf on City Island. Lovely city, very friendly people.
The neighborhood is delightful. We enjoyed walking along the river and eating at the fabulous Cuban restaurant around the corner. The house was easy to be in and was plenty of space for our group of five (all adults). The only minor critique I might have is while high traffic areas were very clean (five stars!), some lesser-used parts looked like they could use some attention (the layer of dust on our ceiling fan were gnarly). We'd happily stay here again, though, and would recommend it!
