This cabin is a bird watchers dream. Turkey, cardinals and Migratory hummingbirds. Deer throughout the property And numerous other wildlife native to Texas. Texas skyline with miles of view.
We loved our stay in this cute cabin in Whitney and mostly appreciate the hostâs responsiveness to all my questions đ I also appreciated the hostâs flexibility and willingness to work with me in terms of bringing my fur babies.
Weâll be back!
We had an extended stay at cabin 2. It was quiet and serene. The sunrises and plethora of humming birds were my favorite! We even caught the meteor shower! The host was attentive and quick to respond! We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape!
This was the perfect, secluded place for a couple to just get away for a night or two (or a week if you can!). There was a mini fridge, coffee maker, mircrowave, and toiletries were also supplied. The TV had Roku. And the stars......the stars at night are AMAZING!!! The place was very clean and cozy. The owner was very quick to respond. Only thing I might suggest is maybe a couple of tv trays to eat on since there is no table. We will definitely be coming back!
After being asked what time we would arrive, we arrived and it was SO HOT in the room. If you knew when we would arrive, WHY not turn on the AC before we arrived? We stayed an hour waiting on it to get cool and it never did so we left. Ridiculous that in texas in June you wouldn't have the air on. There was no hand soap, it was rusted closed and a rusted container by the sink. It was yuck and we actually didn't even stay there. It was worth leaving and finding a hotel in the town. Yucky place.
Such a beautiful little shack and an amazing view. Everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable I would just suggest maybe some extra blankets on hand!
Has a mini fridge, coffee maker, even a toaster. This was a great stay for a small family like ours.
Was perfectly priced and a perfectly appointed space with lovely front porch views. The beds were comfortable and my family of 3 all enjoyed our stay. Host Tommie was very responsive to messages and the check in/out process was great. We hope to be back soon!
Loved it so much. It was quiet, peaceful and serene. The shack was wonderful and very clean. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Definitely will be back to unwind!!
Very quiet and secluded. At the end of 2 miles of dirt road. If you are staying over the weekend pulling a boat make sure you bring your boat cover and are capable of maneuvering in tight spaces. Convenient power pole and receptacle for charging your batteries.
The owner was in constant communication to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was quiet and the room had everything we needed. I highly recommend to those who would like a quiet stress free getaway.
