The Coloma Cottage - Historic Charm, Modern Amenities Beach Breweries Wineries

Perfect for couples, families, girls/guys weekends, etc. 15 minutes from Lake Michigan & 5 minutes to Lake Paw Paw. Centrally located to enjoy the many Michigan beaches, breweries, wineries and restaurants.

The Cottage is one block from Downtown Coloma - 5 minutes from Lake Paw Paw and 15-20 Minutes to St. Joes & South Haven. Small Town living with access to all of the activities that Southwest Michigan has to offer. Walk into the quaint village of Coloma to enjoy the local restaurants, antique shops, ice cream or the Movie Theater, the Loma (affordable movie prices, under $6!) Coloma has so much charm and character and is perfectly located between Lake Paw Paw & Lake Michigan!

The Cottage offers 3 Bedrooms and 3 Full Bathrooms - sleeping for 8 with 2 Queen Bedrooms and a Bunk Room with 4 Twin Beds. Two living spaces, a huge Family Room in the back of the house with a sectional and oversized chairs with a cozy electric fireplace and TV for relaxing along with a game cabinet. The Living Room is at the front of the house and provides a relaxing space to hang out and read or watch TV and also has an electric fireplace. The dining area is off the Living Room and seats 6 with the bench added. TV's are both streaming TV's, there is no cable hook up.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with the tools and appliances you will need to prepare meals for you and your guests. Everyday dishes, China & Kid Friendly plastic dishes are available for your use. Pots, Pans, Baking Pans, Utensils, Serving Pieces, etc. are all supplied as well. An assortment of appliances including a Keurig (starter set of coffee pods, sweetener included), Drip Coffee Maker, Blender, Crock Pot and Mixer are provided as well. The Oven/Stove is electric and glass top, the Refrigerator includes an ice maker. A full spice rack, assortment of teas and a few other kitchen staples are available for your use as well. Please note that there is no garbage disposal in the kitchen. There is a bench in the kitchen for extra seating and enjoying your morning coffee or hang out with the cook during meal prep!

The Wrap Around Porch has 4 Adirondacks on the Side Porch - we hope you enjoy relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoying all the sights and sounds of Coloma and the Downtown Area. Pop over to the Coloma Library which is right next door! There is a wood burning fire pit in the backyard for your enjoyment, what's a vacation in Michigan without some S'mores? Six Adirondack chairs circle the fire pit with additional seating stored in the garage.

To make your stay more enjoyable we have provided some beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, beach towels and life vests to help you enjoy the the area beaches and water activities.

There is a washer and dryer available for your use with an allocation of laundry detergent.

The Cottage has been a labor of love and almost all of the furnishings and accessories are new or collected treasures. We are excited to share this space with you and hope that if you choose to stay with us that you love as much as we do!

Please note, no parties, no pets, no smoking of any kind.
Minimum stay in the summer months is 3 days (May-Aug) 2 days (Sept-April).
Maximum Stay throughout the year is 14 days.
Guest count over 8 will incur an extra charge, our permit limits the number of guests

SECURITY
There is a Nest Front Door Bell as well as outdoor cameras at the side door and side porch door entrances as well as the garage facing the driveway. The cameras are in place to ensure the safety of the property not to infringe on our guests privacy and at no time during your stay will we have the ability to see inside the house or in the backyard by the fire pit.

We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance, in these uncertain times, travel insurance will give you peace of mind if your travel plans change outside of the cancellation policies that are established for the Cottage.

In lieu of a damage or security deposit we require each guest to purchase the damage insurance at the $3000 level for a one time cost of $79. This protects you and the Cottage should any accidents or damage happens. You will see this charge during the check out process.
