Soleil de sable et surf !!! - une escapade privée sur la plage du lac Michigan

Ce condo entièrement rénové de 3 chambres est presque trop nouveau pour être répertorié. Idéal pour une escapade en famille. La rénovation venant de s'achever, nous ouvrons ce joyau aux locations d'été. Une petite liste d'attente nous aidera à remplir certaines dates ouvertes, mais ce condo entièrement rénové offre toutes les commodités de nos autres incroyables condos avec juste un peu plus d'espace. Maman et papa peuvent s'étendre sur un NOUVEAU lit King avec leur propre salle de bain principale ... Alors que la deuxième chambre a 2 reines pour une nuit confortable à recharger, la 3ème chambre a beaucoup d'espace pour les enfants ... Un lit de jour avec une couchette pleine attend les enfants. Une grande chambre (lit) avec une télévision supplémentaire pour se détendre après une journée de sable, de soleil et de surf. Qu'est-ce que vous demandez près? Eh bien, un rapide voyage vers le sud vous amène au centre-ville de St Joseph en 5 minutes pour un magnifique cadre balnéaire. Vingt minutes au nord est South Haven, avec un autre centre-ville incroyable avec toutes les commodités de la ville balnéaire. Même en étant bien blotti entre 2 villes emblématiques de la plage, vous vous sentirez à des kilomètres de ce que nous appelons la «réalité». La meilleure partie est que c'est proche de tout !! Vous ne perdrez pas une journée en transit !! Chicago - 2 heures. Cincinnati - 3 heures, St Louis - 5 heures ... Un voyage rapide vers le plus grand lac avec une plage incroyable sera le point culminant de vos activités estivales. Avec de NOUVEAUX meubles en attente de votre arrivée, de NOUVEAUX appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable dans une magnifique cuisine avec îlot, et de nouveaux articles de toilette, et ce sera unique en son genre ... Nous aimons l'opportunité de partager ces lieux. Ayant loué au moins un condo au cours des 10 dernières années sur cette propriété, nous avons fièrement plus de retour, un invité permanent que jamais auparavant. Nous espérons que votre voyage cette année sera le premier d'une longue série. Wonderful vacation!

We had a great weekend in Coloma! This home was well appointed with a great layout for a group, the kids and adults loved the beautiful beach and the pool, and communication with the property manager was seamless. A 10/10 vacation, thank you!

Best quiet lake/pool time ever

Condo and Owner was spot on. The amenities and communication for any questions were handled, it was clean, quiet and just what we wanted. The pool was so perfect and warm, clean and not once did we have to share it. The lake/beach was all ours also! Path made it easy access, and was any easy walk from condo. We maybe saw 5 humans the entire time, which is what we wanted! The sound of water was perfect, and the small View we had of beach/lake we wanted more of!

The place had all the essentials (except towels). It was a short walk, or golf cart ride, to the lake. We suggest the golf cart! It made it very easy to take all the things we needed to the lake. The pool was warm and right out the back door. The host was easy to communicate with and made the whole procedure easy! It was a great family vacation for us!

The arrival and check-in was a little confusing but owner sent exact instructions step by step where to find key and process. One mistake right side post instead of left side post. Owner very responsive! The property/owner had a new golf cart for the ride down to the beach. Renting the golf cart a must as the walk down is steep if you are transporting any beach play items! Location excellent! Pool had issues with pump but the owner keep us up to date on the progress. South Haven and St Joe very short drives. Many food and drink options. Dave, Kathy, Ken and Linda

Summer vacation

The property itself was very nice. The pool and golf cart were nice perks as well; kids spent a lot of time in the pool. The beach is maybe a 5-10 min walk with a pretty big drop, I would really recommend the golf cart, especially with kids. It rained a good amount while we were there and there was a musty smell in the master bedroom, that was the only negative thing I would have to say about the property. St. Joe's is about a 10 min drive as well. Nice stay overall.

Girls Weekend Getaway

Normally I am not one to leave reviews, but I feel like I need to validate why I gave the score I did for this rental. Upon arrival, it was beyond difficult to even get the slider door open, it took two people to get it opened and then to get it locked when we left, which could be an issue if you are not strong enough to get it closed. While the place was clean and well maintained, there is a horrible musty smell that comes from the master bedroom. We thought with some air fresheners this would go away, but it did not. As someone that is spending a lot of money to stay here for 3 nights, I think these things should be disclosed. Lastly, whoever stayed above us decided from 1AM – 4AMthey were going to run back and forth – quite literally they went from one end to the other on repeat and then there was dragging of furniture for several hours. The first night we thought maybe they got in late and were unloading, but it happened every single night. While we know this is something that you can’t necessarily control, just would like others to be aware that this can happen during their weekend. If you have kids or plan on being loud yourself, then you won’t really worry about it. The plus is there is a nice pool and walking distance to the beach – it is a steep hill coming back, but doable. The weekend overall turned out great and like I said, it was good enough for what it was, but I would want to be warned of these things, especially when a lot of money is involved for a we

The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach and pool were wonderful. It was close to Saint Joseph where we spent a day shopping. The only thing that we would change is to have more privacy on the patio.

Nice property with just a couple quirks

The location was nice with access to a pool - which was well maintained and heated. The pool is large - just shallow (3-5ft) for anyone that enjoys jumping in a deeper end. But refreshing. The lake is just a few hundred feet away and has a nice beach. The golf cart is a must to navigate the hill to the beach if you plan to carry anything there. The house could use.a bit of "spring cleaning" in a few spots - but mostly clean. The quirky things to us were having to empty a couple of de-humidifiers every few hours. One had a leak and had to be unplugged during our stay. Another were some interesting smells - a bit musty - probably due to the dampness, the septic would also leach out a bit of nastiness every now and then and a corner neighbor enjoyed their weed. So those were the interesting smells. But all in all a good location, nice beach and good pool.

Lake Michigan Getaway

Pictures a bit deceiving as we expected to be right on Lake Michigan. However, the golf cart and beach accessories provided by gist made it very convenient and enjoyable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Lake Michigan beach experience was unforgettable!

Great Family Vacay!

We often stay at the same place when we go to Michigan, this year it was booked. We were very pleased with this vacation getaway. The location is amazing, perfect layout for the family. The pool and golf cart were an added bonus. We will definitely return next year.

Perfect Family Getaway!

The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. The condo had a great open concept living area and lots of room for our entire family. The only downside was that the bathrooms were small and there is a humidifier that needs emptied frequently. However, the pool was really nice and the beach was amazing! I definitely recommend renting the golf cart to drive to the beach!

Anniversary of the death of both parents and I needed to get away. This condo was way more than we needed, so much room! We loved the peace of drinking coffee and looking at the lovely Lake Michigan. You won’t be disappointed!

Great pool and beach

The location to the beach and pool is awesome. The golf cart is a great asset to come and go from the beautiful beach. We had a great time at our stay, but there are some things we wish we had known and if we had , we may have chosen not to stay here. The living room, dining room and kitchen are exactly as pictured and nicely remodeled. The kitchen had any extras you might need for cooking. The air conditioning is a portable cooling system that vents through the wall and only does a fair job of cooling the condo. The 2 extra bedrooms are rather warm and humid. The bathrooms have no air conditioning and are just plain hot and humid, not ideal for trying to feel fresh and clean during and after a shower. These air conditioning units are very loud and run pretty much nonstop and can only be set on 72 degrees. It makes it difficult to have a conversation without feeling like you are having to almost yell to be heard. The master bedroom and master bathroom have a terrible moldy, musty smell that as another person stated in their review, is very off putting. The unit is in need of a deep cleaning, especially under the beds and along the baseboards. Who ever does the cleaning is only cleaning the middle. Tony seems like a super nice guy and very responsive to any communication. I am sure if we had asked he would have sent someone in to clean, but we didn't want to deal with someone coming in to clean once we had already checked in. If the air conditioning situation and the terrible smell from the master bathroom could be fixed it would make this a much better place to stay. We didn't let these issues keep us from having a great time, but they are things we wish we had known before booking.

Great location, clean property, nice pool, sewage problems and smelly water

This place is about a half mile walk to a beautiful private beach. The hill is very steep, so our golf cart came in handy. The pool was clean and never crowded. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, and the couches and furniture was great. The kitchen had a nice coffee bar and all appliances you would need. The cons:. Two big issues was that all the water smells like rust from all the faucets. You come out of the shower and smell it in your hair. Also, we had a bad sewer smell off and on outside and inside the house the entire stay. I will say that the owner was prompt in calling us back and had a plumber there the next morning. They found raw sewage was leaking in the pipes inside, but that doesn't account for the outside smell. Maybe something to do with the septic system. They were working on it when we left, so I'm hoping they get it resolved. Small issues, you have to bring your own towels. Beach towels, kitchen towels, wash cloths, bath towels etc. We are a large family so it was a pain to have to pack all that extra. Not too many coffee cups, so bring your yeti or some disposable cups. For almost 4grand a week, it would be nice to have kitchen and bath towels provided. Overall, if not for the septic issue and smelly water (maybe that's a Michigan thing), I would definitely go back.

Great vacation!

This place was amazing. My first time to Michigan Lake and was one of the best vacations we ever had! Weather and beach were absolutely perfect. Tony was very nice to deal with, and the condo was cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

A little pricey for what you get

The unit itself was nicely decorated and roomy; however it wasn’t what we expected. The unit is in the middle of the bottom floor of units, so you could hear people walking around upstairs. There were two AC floor units-one in the main area and one in the master bedroom...the other two bedrooms just had fans, so they were warm. The master bedroom had no windows (thus no second fire escape exit), so it was completely dark when the lights were off and the door was closed. The beds were softer than we like, so we just used extra pillows from other beds to place under our backs. The master bedroom and bathroom were humid and had a musty smell. There was a dehumidifier in the main area, perhaps one in the bedroom would help?? We would empty it two to three times a day. The “private” garden entrance was sliding doors from a shared patio area, and was the only door to the exterior; the pool and beach area were also shared with all the other condos in the area, so could be quite crowded if everyone came at the same time. Towels were not provided...this means no towels whatsoever, including hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen towels. So bring your own! The use of a golf cart to haul stuff to the beach was very nice! We have stayed in many rentals (including Cayman Islands and Italy) that had a beach view, washer and dryer in the unit, and towels, yet cost almost half the cost. This was a clean unit but overpriced for what we received.

Having a rental unit up here the last 20 years and truly enjoying the rental part of our little lake house only made me want to do more. when this unit came up for sale, it was an easy choice to go for it, do the extensive remodel and utilize the beauty of Lake Michigan and this incredible beach to share a little piece of paradise with others. Having two young boys (11 and 15 now) this area is their home away from home. A quick day trip or a long weekend lights up their little lives and hearing back from so many how much they enjoyed their trip is really rewarding. It's a great experience on both sides. This place is incredible from what it was -- so, as I always say -- come spend another day in paradise with us this summer!! Hurry, this won't last!!

This is the Condo that fits the bill for awesomeness.. We went the extra mile to make sure comfort was indeed included with your stay. You and the kids need a great place to recharge! You won't be disappointed.. Garden entry -- and oh yeah, right be the HEATED POOL. Well from June - September anyway. Too much too list!! Come as you are -- do NOT risk an airport or the international flight -- save that $$ for a house or kids college!! . Chill, eat, drink and stay with us this summer!! :)
