Spacious and inviting, The Dolphin will be your happy place! Located directly across from the beach with a view of the heated pool. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. The Dolphin, in the Dawn Condominium Complex, is a beautifully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo that can sleep 5 comfortably. The master suite features a king size bed with luxury linens, soft comfortable pillows. Large soft towels are provided for your convenience and a 40" HD Google TV in the Master Bedroom.

The sunny living room features queen sleeper sofa, 50" Roku TV, basic cable available for your use. Adjacent to the living room is an exterior patio with unobstructed view of the heated pool and outdoor dining for 4. There is also a twin rollaway located in the large master closet along with beach toys, beach towels, and beach chairs for your convenience.

The dining room has table for seating for 4, with a desk and office chair area. The kitchen is fully stocked; smooth top electric stove, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker with K cups provided, regular coffee maker with coffee and filters provided, garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with large freezer, blender, cookware, silverware, glassware and dish place-settings. Tupperware, bowls, measuring cups, and other cooking utensils provided.

Full sized washing machine and electric dryer are located in the unit, adjacent to the kitchen.

The Dawn is secure facility with all doors and gates opened with codes. A wrought iron fence surrounds the property to ensure your privacy and security. Ample (fee-based) parking is available on the property as first come first serve. Beautifully landscaped grounds with 2 available pools (one heated), a hot tub, community center, charcoal grills and exercise lounge. Babe's Beach is right across the street, with access from the stop light at the corner of the property. Parking pass is purchased separately at The Dawn office for $40 for a 1-3 night stay or $50 for 4 or more nights. The Dawn Condominiums was awarded Best Condominium Rental on the Island for 2023.

Perfect location for the weekend

The unit is in a great location, near the beach, Moody Gardens, and lots of food. Very quiet community too. Very fast communication with the host! Will stay again.

Peaceful retreat

Wonderful location with everything we needed to relax and unwind. Clean and modern, master bed was comfortable too. Very close to the beach, and the pool onsite was only a few steps away. We will certainly be back!

We loved our stay here! My 4 year old loved his “closet bedroom” and the place came with everything we needed! Beach toys and chairs, plenty of towels and having washer/dryer was awesome.

A great place to stay!

This was our second time staying at the Dawn Condominiums, first time at the Dolphin. It was a great experience. The condo had everything we needed and the king bed was comfortable for us! The location of the condo is in between both pools and right across the street from Babe’s beach.

Great Getaway!

Loved the location, the condo, the host and the office people at The Dawn. The condo was well appointed for 2 and the grounds and pool were well kept. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The king bed was comfy too. That is rare in any rental. When I return to Galveston I will stay there again. Thank you Julie for having such a great place.

Lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin. It’s perfectly located close to both pools. The condo is lovely and perfect for my daughter and I. We greatly appreciated the generous assortment of K-cups to get us going in the morning. This is in a great location: easy access to the beach, close to all the touristy stuff, but also close to a quieter section of beaches.

The Dawn was perfect!

We stayed at The Dawn for about a week in July 2023 and the location was perfect. It was right across the street from the beach and right next to a Wal-Mart which was very convenient. The pools, hot tub, and the grounds were kept up beautifully and the front desk made getting our pool bands simple and were so friendly and helpful. The condo itself had everything you needed and was clean and a perfect place to stay for a week. This will be our go to place when staying in Galveston!

Perfect For A Quick Getaway

My husband and I stayed in this adorable condo for a quick weekend without the kids. It was clean, cute decor and had everything we needed. Just across the street from the beach and a pool view. I did have to reach out to the host and her response was prompt and helpful. Plan on booking here again. Thanks Julie for a perfect weekend!

Great Way to Stay in Galveston!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at The Dolphin! The Dawn staff made check-in easy, and our host had everything we needed in the condo, including beach toys. The washer/dryer was super handy, and the close location to the beach allows sea breeze to cool off the pool areas (works best in the shade). If you want the beach, you go out the gate door and cross the street where there's a seawall staircase - super simple! We hope we can return soon!

Dolphin Poolside. Great property

Our group of grandparents, grown daughter and two grandchildren all enjoyed this property. We stayed here because the beach is across the street. This property is poolside and bottom floor with a gate on the patio which put us steps to the nice pool area. The place was clean, well appointed, easy to access, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hostess was accommodating and quick to respond. Will stay here again when in Galveston.

Everything was pleasant except half the parking lot being closed for roof repair. One of the pools that has the hot tub was closed. Other than that very happy with the stay and the property

Not as advertised

The property was clean, the condo was clean,beds was uncomfortable though. The 2 bedroom listed on the pictures was actually a large closet! I would never have rented this condo had I not thought it was a room. That was disappointing my mother was going to come buy did not have a place to sleep. Other than this we enjoyed the property and location. Very convenient to beach and pool.

Great spot on Galveston

We went during spring break and a cold front came through. We still had a blast. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. My kids loved hanging out in the closet. Julie was wonderful and very helpful. You do need to wear your and at the pool because “senior owners” will definitely check.

Excellent communication and help from property owner

We did not actually stay at this property because the renter before us damaged the property significantly. Julie, the property owner, reached out to us as soon as she was made aware of the damage and worked with another property owner in the same complex to make sure that we had accommodations for our entire stay. Her communication as excellent and her help was invaluable. While we didn't stay at the property, we did met her there and it looked like it would have been very nice.
