Find yourself living the slow and quiet ranch lifestyle surrounded by the rural beauty of Columbia Falls here at Columbia Falls Ranch Living, a charming farmhouse built in 1912! Though this home has been wonderfully updated, the original flooring and wood trim throughout remains, keeping the historic feel alive and well. Perched on a 'working ranch', you will have the company of livestock on 100 acres of walkable and skiable (cross country) land.
When you find yourself having a bit of downtime inside, everyone will love spending quality time in the living room watching a favorite show or gathering at the dining table for a home-cooked meal prepared in the full eat-in kitchen. Everyone will have their own peace and quiet when need be with the five bedrooms split between two floors as well. Don't forget to treat yourself to a bit of pampering in the jetted tub when you need a break from the excitement of a family vacation. Whether you have come to check out the quaint town of Columbia Falls or want to make a day trip to Glacier National Park, this will be the perfect home base.
Things to Know The fences are marked as 'hot' but also know that if there is a wire, that means it's an electric fence and should not be touched. Ranch employees will be on and off the property most days to feed the livestock but they will not be near the home, just in the pasture area.

Family of 8 ranging from 70-16. Great home base for our adventures in Glacier and the surrounding area. Quiet setting in a beautiful old farmhouse. We loved the horses and cows on the property. We did not feel crowded. The scenery is beautiful. Easy drive to Columbia Falls and Kalispell and Glacier. Would recommend.
We had a great stay! It was roomy and clean. The home had loads of character as its over 100 years old. The property is on acreage with horses and cows which was fun to watch. The biggest issue was there was no air-conditioning and as we stayed in July none slept well or with any covers the whole time. They provided fans but it wasn't enough. Other than that it was a great trip!
We recently stayed in a charming 1912 farmhouse for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The home was impeccably clean and had all the charm of a historic farm, truly transporting you back in time. The property is part of a working ranch, so youâll see horses and cows grazing peacefully in the back, adding to the authentic farm experience. While ranch hands are busy in the back fields, they wonât need to access the house, so youâll have all the privacy you need.
The only downside is that the home doesnât have central air, but there are fans in every room to keep things comfortable. Overall, itâs a wonderful stay for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful, historic setting!
This property is conveniently located to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. When you need to rest from all of the activity, this is the perfect place. Comfortable seating to gather around the dining room table, watch tv in the living room, or enjoy the outdoor rockers. I love the details in homes built long ago and this one was stunning. We had a mixed group of 9 and there was plenty of room for everyone.
The view of the mountains is just as beautiful as the pics. Located on a beautiful farm with cows. No smell by the way. The farmhouse itself is immaculate and I slept great. Has everything you could need. I love old houses especially when they are as clean as this one. Centrally Located to Glacier National, Flathead Lake and several nice towns. All within 25 minutes. Perfect.
Thanks for everything.

House is beautifully renovated and rooms were very clean and spacious. The back patio with rocking chairs to take in the mountains and watch the cows and horses graze made for a perfect Montana experience.
Definitely an old farm house very cute. Was thankful for 1 bed down stairs dur to the fact my dad would not been able to get up them. The HBO streaming didn't work. I just used my Amazon account to watch TV. The rancher was very nice and friendly. My daughter was very happy to hang out by the horses. Reminded her of home. This house is located off a dirt road. Overall we had a very nice stay.
