The home was spacious for the 5 adults and met our needs for sleeping and bathroom access. Overall needs were met for cleanliness. The outside views were great
The home and location were even more beautiful than the photos represent! Our family had a wonderful and restful time, enjoying both floors of the house, comfort, indoors and outdoors, great mornings with coffee and fishing, enjoyable days in the Woodland Park and Colorado Springs area, and the gorgeous Mountain views were a daily delight. The owner, Amanda, was responsive and helpful whenever asked, and the trout fishing was actually really good as well! We would absolutely stay again and hope to return to the area next summer as a family.
Our stay was fantastic. The house is located near a beautiful Mountain Town, Woodland Park. I have family who live and work in the area and we needed a large home to gather together. This house was exactly what we needed. Kitchen well stocked, outside fire pit relaxing and the views breathtaking. I would use this property again.
We came out for a womenâs conference at Charis. We got blessed with a 20â snowstorm! The driveway is steep, so if youâre coming in the winter, be sure to have a 4WD They did a great job of trying to keep the driveway cleared off, but it is still slick. We did take advantage of the sleds and sled down the driveway, so much fun! The home was spacious and well equipped. Amanda is wonderful host
The home was perfect for our party of 6! Very clean and comfortable. And the view of the lake and trees was so pretty! We were attending a conference at Charis and loved that it was within walking distance!
It was a clean, beautiful property, close to our venue & to town, beautiful view.
Amanda was a fabulous host - very quick responses to our questions.
Only negative - very steep driveway.
This was our first time visiting the Rocky Mountains area as a family. The house location is easy to access, on a gravel road, weâre used to that. Easy drive to several area attractions. Quiet neighborhood, lots of wildlife, and a nice view of Pikes peak, on clear days. Warning the water can get very hot! Clean and Quiet home.
Thanks
The home was beautiful! Beautiful view, beautiful rooms, bathrooms. My friend even wrote down the brand of pillows because they were so comfortable. Amanda was great. She got back to us surprisingly fast any time we had questions. I would highly recommend this Vrbo! Such a blessing to be there.
It was also within walking distance of Charis Bible College where we were attending a conference. We took a back road and were able to cut across onto the Charis property. About a ten minute walk. If you drive you go onto the main road and around, which was a ten minute easy drive.
Communication from the property owner was always prompt, courteous, and helpful. The check-in and check-out processes were simple. The house was in a wonderful location for accessing hiking and trout fishing in the area. We visited Eleven Mile Canyon, the Dream Stream, Mueller State Park, Red Rock State Park, Manitou Lake, and The Craggs and other local trails. My husband also enjoyed fishing in the neighborhood lake a few times too (be sure to buy a Colorado license if you do this). Heading into Manitou Springs for an evening out was just a 30 minute drive. The kitchen and outdoor electric grill were good for cooking dinners in (just be sure to bring all ingredients with you). Also note that there is only a Keurig - we brought our own coffee pot as single k-cups arenât our thing. Overall a good stay at a great location.
Well equipped. Spacious with good furniture selection. Clean.
Need a few more towels. 2 in each bath insufficient
A real coffee maker would be a nice add
Love, love this place. Very, very clean. Spacious. Amanda the owner patiently responds to my inquiries literally in minutes.
we highly, highly recommend this place if you are looking in the Woodland Park area. Just 30-35 minutes to most of the tourist attractions in Colorado Springs. Love waking up in the morning or late in the afternoon seeing deers grazing about. Our furry son enjoyed his walks in the neighborhood on the days we were not hiking.
The area was perfect! I loved that they had two living rooms and living room was geared towards children with board games.
She was great at communicating, we knew what to expect a few days before arriving.
We would definitely stay here again.
